Debbie Macomber, Leisure Arts

Leisure Arts, 2005

loved these patterns
i loved how the pattern book reflected the story that goes by the same name. the pictures were beautiful and the step-by-step instructions made me feel, as a beginner, that i could produce these same treasures. after reading each book, i am now anxious to start working on the same projects that lydia held classes in. the corresponding patterns books are a must and i highly recommend them. ...

The Second Sister Heartskeep (Harlequin Intrigue Series)1 review
Dani Sinclair

Harlequin, 2003

A Summer Read...
I enjoyed this book but I thought there left a lot to be said. I know there is a next one in the series, but this one left a lot out. The relationship between the sisters was very clear but I wanted to hear more about the missing mother. The romance was sweet and I liked how the characters were developed. I recommend this book if you are looking for a fun, light book.

Gump & CO58 reviews
Winston Groom

Atria, 1995

Gump & Co. is a ok book
Gump & Co. is a good book. You'd have to read the first book (Forrest Gump) to get whet happens in this book. Winston Groom has a way of making every thing that he writes funny. Because Forrest Gump is "special in the head", he gets into trouble. A very good book that most people should read. four Star book

Protect and Defend : A Novel138 reviews
Richard North Patterson, 2000

Absolutely riveting legal / political thriller
A charismatic new president draws a line in the sand by nominating the first woman for Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, knowing that her secrets may be his undoing. The domestic hot-button issue of late-term abortion drives this novel, bringing scrutiny to not only her understandable and carefully hidden secret, but those of several other key players. Violence, Nudity, Adult Content: A Novel7 reviews
Vince Passaro

Simon & Schuster, 2002

A Great Debut Novel for Lovers of Language
Vince Passaro's "Violence, Nudity, Adult Content" is a brilliant character study without a single false note. This book is gritty, funny, tragic, moving, poetic and as real as an IRS Audit. It's also an unsentimental love story that takes no prisoners in its portrait of Will and Ellie's struggle with the incongruities of modern married life. "V,N,AC" includes some of the finest descriptive ...

Plague Time: How Stealth Infections Cause Cancer, Heart Disease, and Other Deadly Ailments17 reviews
Paul Ewald, 2000

Credibly incredible!
Dr. Ewald makes some outstanding points and raises questions that should have been raised 50 years ago. The idea that all (or most) cancers are microbes is old news, however. There was a group of doctors during the 1920's that isolated the virus in a microscope and were able to destroy the microbe using a radio frequency. People with cancer were being cured because these doctors were destroying ...
