Religious fiction
Another one of those Christian Fictions that bespeaks doom and destruction for all who don't turn their lives over to Jesus. If you can get past the religious psychobabble, its a good book. Otherwise, Buddha is a much better choice and his followers are typically less intolerant and war-like. The end of a series in which Christians can read, believe that they're superior and have chosen the ...

Ummm.... Wow!!!
This was by far the best book in the series. The action, suspense, comedy, and elements of saddness blend so well, that its hard not to love the books for what they are. Unlike the last installments, "Assassins" takes on a darker premise. The characterization gets much more refined, because of the writers ability of putting the reader more into the minds of the character... whereas in the ...

I Like It
I love this book. I had to force myself to but it down so I don't read though it all at once. I find that the characters are very real, and other than the initial event (the Rapture) all of the following events sound realistically possible (in a novel). I have read many negative reviews from Christians denouncing that it doesn't exactly follow the Bible. And from others saying that it's ...

Things slow down...
In "Tribulation Force" things slow down considerably from the first book. It is probably the dullest book in the entire series, but that does not make it a bad book, and it is still integral to the series as a whole. This book takes over where the first left off and is in between the rapture and the plagues. Buck Williams, Rayforde Steel, and Chloe Steele have all made decisions to ...

AGONY
(Contains spoilers) I sobbed with this book, enough to actually throw it across the bed. I felt her pain in the end, and it was all so terrible wrong. I hate the ending with a passion. To hell with the dramatic effect his death brought on... I'd rather be stuck in my tiny bubble of unrealistic fantasies than read that ending thoroughly. It was just a punch in the chest when I read the last ...

Just one more book in the all-encompassing, enthralling, and utterly absorbing Left Behind Series
From the very first letter of the alphabet that my eyes looked upon inside this series of books, until the very last period of the very last sentence, I was hooked. Each one of these books absorbed my attention like no other book has ever done in my life. Biblically sound, theatrically entertaining, and brilliantly written, the Left Behind books will inspire you to dig into God's word and take ...

Traveling with Your Pet by AAA
Excellent, accurate book that allowed us to plan our trip without worrying about where to stay with our pet. I loaned it to a friend who was traveling out west and they loved the book so much I gave it to them and now have to buy another copy! I keep it on file should we ever have to evacuate due to a hurricane. We'll all go to the same hotel with our pets!

Love Enjoy... and Devour!!
I really enjoy this series. Although it has some minor flaws... such as the somewhat dry writing style, scarce characterization, and the fact that the series seems without end, I couldnt help myself but to be sucked into the plot. I admit, it could be better, but I couldnt put it down and devoured the book in as little as 4 days.

Helpful to cancer fighters
Whether or not you are a fan of Lance Armstrong, this book is incredibly helpful. Helpful for getting a grip on the implication of testicular cancer diagnosis and treatment. Also helpful for tackling the mental battle that comes with this disease. It is full of hope, and an important read for those diagnosed with Testicular cancer, and their significant others.

Most significant book I have ever read
I read this book when it first came out in the early 90s. It made me realize that my sister and I were not crazy - our mother was! Our mother had caused us a lot of pain with her belief that her needs always needed to come first. The book opened my eyes. We eventually both broke it off with the selfish monster and led much happier lives. Incredible book.

CRITICISM 101
This is how it's done! Lester probably never would have posted a review on Amazon. Maybe it's fortunate he never lived to see it. MTV pretty much killed him. Sure there was the Darvon, Valium, Amphetimines and cough syrup, but I'm pretty sure it was Martha Quin and the Buggles that put him over the edge. He would have hated the plasticine strip-mall tone of the highest ranking reviewers here. ...
