great resource
This is by and for romance authors. Though there is some repetition, it is nice to get a published author's take on why the romance genre is so popular. Recommended for anyone who wants to know the whys, rather than the hows of the genre.

Surprisingly Good Book
I bought this book because I was interested in learning more about the subject. The sex book genre is full of books that have an interesting subject, but appear to be written by 5th graders, and then printed without being edited. In addition, the publishing quality is frequently fairly low, which makes for a bad reading experience. This book, however, was a pleasant surprise. It's ...

Even better than The Whole Beast / Nose to Tail Eating
Although much more dessert and baking oriented than I would have liked, this book still deserves all your attention as it is the perfect complement to the first book. Most recipes are written in a delightfully humorous prose dusted here and there with a few opiniated, informative or funny comments. If you like no non-sense anti-diet be-happy food, this book if you. Among the great lessons ...

There is also a great list of mail-order sources with descriptions of supplies. I especially liked the design section for its simple and straightforward approach to considerations and approaches towards my garden layout.

No one has reviewed this yet?!?
Well, I must say at the outset that this is a book I currently have on loan from my Spokane library. I discovered no one has reviewed it here on Amazon when I came here looking to buy it and wanting to know what others thought about it! I have not seen alot of aquarium plant books yet, certainly not Hiscock's, which seem to be strongly represented here. Mary Sweeney's book is a little ...

Time For Kids Books
I purchased several of the Time Life For Kids books and they are great. I have 9-year-old twin boys who are in 4th grade, and they love them! I would strongly suggest these books for any children who are interested in learning more about a specific legend or if learning about a specific legend is required for class work, book reports, etc. Great price too!

Author?
It's Patricia Califia. Not "Patrick." I read the book more than 10 years ago and just referred it to an online friend, only to discover Patricia had a sex change, apparently. In any event, the book is excellent. Too bad it must carry a male name to sell, it seems. However, we females know who truly are the sexy ones.

Excellent book for all ages
This book is wonderful. It is listed as a children's book, but I believe it is a valuable asset to any student of Plymouth, the Pilgrims and the founding of our country. The pen and ink artwork is beautiful. She includes great maps and a timeline that runs throughout the book. Her bibliography is impressive, and I would highly recommend this book.
