It's a horrible day, but it's a great book!
This was a great book! It made us laugh. We liked the part when Alexander fell in the mud, and when his foot got stuck in the elevator. You should read this book because it is a funny book. If you read it, we think you will like it. We would recommend it to both adults and kids, especially for people who are not having a good day. It will make them feel better. Happy reading!

Beautifully written fantasy
"The Dark Is Rising" series is a beautifully written series based on British folklore. It is a children's series, but adults with an interest in British lore will enjoy it as well. The characters are well drawn, and the rising suspense makes this a page-turner for all. These are books you may well find yourself rereading as an adult!

I was surprised to read all the negative reviews of this book so I had to submit my own. My son loves this book even more than the first (also one of his favorites).
