SUCK IT
I have honestly never read an entire book in all my life with the exceptions of some Shakespeare. I started reading the saga on Monday. I finished reading the last book Friday. I could not put it down! Yes if I ever hear another writer or person for that matter say something in regards to "pursing lips" I may blow my head off. But, beyond some of the crappy over expressions used I feel this ...

This book is full of win
I first heard of Watchmen when I saw a trailer for its movie. Liking the trailer very much, I bought a copy of the graphic novel to see what it was about. What I expected was a light fun read full of pointless action like most other comics. I couldn't have been farther from the truth. What I read instead was a captivating novel with wonderfully developed characters and an intriguing plot with ...

Christian Theology Threatened by the Truth
Second only to the Bible in sharing the truth, which is a hard pill to swallow for most people who call themselves 'Christians'. The Shack will not appeal to those of you unfortunate enough to be to 'simple-minded' to even remotely accept the possibility that organized religion is just that 'organized' (by humans who have nothing but their own self-interest in mind). I have read the Bible, ...

Best Book I have read all year & most important one for 2008!
I am only 3/4 of my way through reading this book. After listen to talk radio, I could not believe a Presidential canidate can have a less impressive resume than myself or anyone else I have known! He has lied in his books, lied about his family, hates America, compares us to France and China, when we are the GREATEST COUNTRY on earth, and the rest of us are d*mn proud to be Americans and live in ...

Engaging inspirational story
This is one of the most interesting, engaging books I've ever read. One must enthusiastically support the heroes of the story for doing what's right and helping their fellow human beings. I disagree with the main hero politically but strongly support his efforts and the dramatic results he has wrought. The story is beautiful and inspirational.

WOW!!!!!
After reading all of the negative reviews from people who haven't even read the book truly demonstrates the depth of despair to which we have been reduced. Adrew Bacevich is a brave and brilliant American. He should be read and heard so that we can end our downward spiral and become the great America we once were. The message is not Republican vs. Democrat, nor even conservative vs. liberal. ...

Finally! The truth...
This book is a terrific read and takes on the courage to expose the truths about BO and how frightening his lack of experience and outright unethical style will destroy this country. If you're someone who wants to have a true view into who BO is without being forced to see him through the love-affair eyes of the media, then this book is for you!

A life-changing book, even for the impossible me.
I had just found out that my ex-boyfriend's father, a man who I loved and admired deeply, had passed away. Then, about an hour later, I came across this book. After reading the back through my tears, I decided that I might be able to use a little spirituality right then to help me deal with my grief, so I bought it. As I mourned, I read. I read, and I mourned. I'm not a religious person at all ...

Utterly Charming -- I wish it were longer!
After reading a sample, I had this book delivered to my Kindle last Saturday when I was on vacation. I was immediately enthralled and the book was my constant companion all week during my commute to and from work on the train. Finally, I just curled up today on a lazy Saturday and read it to the last. Felt both elated and sad at the ending -- elated because it ended up where I hoped it would; ...

A Valuable Twist on Traditional Financial Thinking
I used to work in financial services; I left because I didn't believe in the concepts we were trained to share with others. Investing all of your extra cash in high risk/potentially high return instruments in response to your concern about possible future lack, often robs people of the best possible present moment. I don't believe that we can afford to live without planning for tomorrow, but ...

WOW! WHAT A SURPRISE!
I was certainly pleased when I read this book. I thought Mrs. Spelling was some air-headed rich girl. That was not the case at all. She is a down-to earth person who is doing her best throughout the book to find out who she is inside. I must say that being the child of a very wealthy man would make it hard not to have an ego the size of Mt. Fuji. Believe it or not the girl who turns into a woman ...
