This is a nicely presented book with very simple instructions. Pictures of scenes are created by using simple embroidered french knots on cotton fabric (quilter's homespun). I have made two of the scenes from this book, which features approx 8 patterns. The results are rewarding and are sure to be admired by embroidery enthusiasts.

This book is really adorable!
If your looking for a book for a young child - this would be it. A puppy is scared of a noise and searches all through the house for the source of the sound. In the process he investigates and rather destroys, a house fully decorated for Christmas. As and Early childhood teacher, I highly recommend this book for all preschool and early elementary children.
