The best basic review book I've used.
I've used this text book to hone and review my basic math skills. It happened to also be a good review and reference book for the GMAT exam if you have the extra time to study. If you do all of the section excercise problems you can really become good at all of the individual topics. book was offered at my school, a community college, for $79.00. It was paperback, and looked to me like it was photocopied very inexpensively. I found this book, hardback, for about half the price. FANTASTIC!!!

Generally good, but has a few errors and bad sections.
It is like most math text books, meaning that everything in it is explained sounding harder than it is, but, as far as math books go, it's not bad. It has some mistakes and some really bad sections, bu all in all its pretty good. Not worth the price, though.

Excellent and Easy review
I had a BA and was planning to enter a B.S. program after ten years out of High School. This book was a tremendous help in refreshing my mathematics skills. The material is presented clearly and in very understandable language.
