Excellent preparation guide.
I liked book format, question's annotations and tests on CD. Includes diagnostic test that was really helpful. If you compare content to price, Barron's ACT, 2007-2008 with CD-ROM is probably one of the best ACT books out there.

Great Review for the Test
I bought the book and studied the material and did the practice tests. If anything the book overprepares you for the CBEST which is not necessarily a bad thing. Passed the test on my first try thanks to this great refresher book.

Barron's has done an amazingly fine job with this book. It takes every part of the ACT and makes it easy to understand. The ACT is, in my opinion, the best test a college could use while considering applicants. The book makes the tests harder than they really are so that you feel you need to learn the material. This book really did a poor job of preparing me for the actual CBEST. The level of information the book focused on, especially in the math section, was much more advanced than anything that was on the actual test.
