Haunted Animals: True Ghost Stories4 reviews
Allan Zullo

Troll Communications, 1995

It Was Interesting
I will make my review short and to the point. This particular book was unbeleivable (considering I read it back in 1998). It kept me wondering whether these stories were real. Allan Zullo, I must say, is magnificent in collecting all these stories to give "us" readers to enjoy.

Astonishing But True Golf Facts2 reviews
Allan Zullo

Andrews McMeel Publishing, 2001

Astonishing but true enjoyment
As a golfer, I've read probably a hundred books about golf. But I've never read one that tickled me or touched me more than this one. It has everything an avid golfer could want from a book. Only a round with Tiger could be more fun or more inspiring. A must read for the linksman!

The president who pardoned a turkey and other wacky tales of American history1 review
Allan Zullo

Watermill Press, 1996

Funny!
The events in this book is so hilarious, I still remember them, even though I haven't read them since sixth grade when I had to use the book for a report. This book is funny, and very informative. I didn't know about ANY of the events that is written in the book. I only wish it was longer.

The Smile-High Club: Outrageous but True Air Travel Stories4 reviews
Kathy Nelson, Allan Zullo

Andrews McMeel Publishing, 2002

So very funny!
I love to laugh, and after a serious day, this book was the perfect remedy. I was crying from laughing so hard at several different times in the book. It's a fabulous book, and it doesn't matter if you love to fly (as I do), or if you detest the experience. I think you'll enjoy this book.

Survivors: True Stories of Children in the Holocaust9 reviews
Allan Zullo, Mara Bovsun

Scholastic Paperbacks, 2005

Excellent but for mature, emotionally stable kids 12 and up
This book should be read by everyone that is emtionally mature enough to handle it. I am writing this review as a warning to parents that might purchase this book for a younger child based on the "Reading Level: 9 - 12" rating and the fact that it is a Scholastic book. My 4th grader's teacher recommended this book but I am glad I took a look at it first. Here's an excerpt from the book taking ...

Heroes of the Holocaust: True Stories of Rescues by Teens2 reviews
Allan Zullo

Scholastic, 2005

Sad Book
The book Heroes of the Holocaust is a fabulous book. This is a must for all readers who like adventures. I recommend this book for ages 9 and up. I give this book 5 stars. In this book, 6 teenage people risk their lives to save Jewish people from the Nazis during the time of the Holocaust. The Holocaust was a mass murder of people during World War 2. In 1 of the stories, Maria brought food and ...

The New Lawyer's Wit And Wisdom: Quotations On The Legal Profession, In Brief1 review
Bruce M. Nash, Allan Zullo, ...

Running Press, 2001

"A judge is merely a lawyer who has been benched."
I found this little book to be very entertaining.I have a lawyer friend and always pick up these "Lawyer" books for him when I see them.As a fan of one-liners these books are some of the best. Usually the Lawyer jokes are pretty mean ,but this book tends more to good humor, wit and a lot of stories, experiences, plus some deep seated wisdom. The book gives the source of each quip and has a very ...

A Boomer's Guide to Grandparenting1 review
Allan Zullo, Kathryn Zullo

Andrews McMeel Publishing, 2004

Anecdotal at best....
I'm desperately searching for grandparent guide that isn't a collection of heart-warming or otherwise sacchrine messages about how life changes when you have a grandchild. In particular, I want a guide that is about new guidelines for taking care of a baby, one that takes into account the fact that doctors', psychologists', and other experts' advice has changed from 30 years ago when the new ...

Greatest Sports Stories Never Told, The1 review
Bruce Nash, Allan Zullo

Aladdin, 1993

Stories are short, but detailed with facts
When I was a in junior high, I enjoyed reading any book of this nature that I could find. This book was a joy to read, but I want to add one caveat to the script. I was the subject in the third chapter, THE BUZZER BEATER, and the author took great poetic license to write the story. Many facts were true, but I have the videocassette today which was copied from an old 16 mm film which ...

Allan Zullo

Brilliance Audio on MP3-CD, 2008

Haunted Kids
Even though it's a little hard to beleive, it's a REALLY good book. Every time I want to get scared, I read this book over and over. I practically have every story memorized! Since all of the stories were especially good, none of them could be my "favorite".
