This is one of my favorites by Amanda Quick. Though this is my third time reading Ravished, I enjoyed it as much if not more than the first time. The hero and heroine are lovable, well-rounded and memorable. The supporting characters are also full of life and believable. There's lots of action. Oh, and I can't forget to add that I found it hilarious.

A refreshing read!
I checked Deception out of the library a few days ago. I intended on reading it as a study break as I plowed through math GRE preparations. This book is so refreshing and funny that I do believe I will purchase my own copy! Of course, not everyone has the same tastes as I--but if you like regency romance stories with a side of innocence and arrogance then this is a book for you!

A fun read in the Regency world
I found this book an excellent read, great fun, amusing dialogue and an interesting story.
I particularly liked the way Amanda Quick portrayed Sebastian as someone who had become so disenchanted with society that he behaved with disdain for his relatives.
I think the dialogue is particularly strong in this novel - the witticisms between Sebastian and Prudence are great fun. Read and enjoy.
