Big Girl Knits: 25 Big, Bold Projects Shaped for Real Women with Real Curves58 reviews
Jillian Moreno, Amy R. Singer

Potter Craft, 2006

Sassy, smart and superbly designed
A landmark in knitting culture, this book is the definitive resource for those making plus size garments. It specifies detailed shaping, what fibres to use and not use, and above all encourages self-esteem and self-worth. The pictures are detailed, and each pattern is rated both for difficulty and also for suitability against body type. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

More Big Girl Knits: 25 Designs Full of Color and Texture for Curvy Women13 reviews
Jillian Moreno, Amy R. Singer

Potter Craft, 2008

More joy for full-size women
... and for the people who knit for them. Love the book. It's a great follow-up to Big Girl Knits, with more techniques and patterns that flatter bigger women. It's written for big girls who are frustrated with trying to find patterns that fit and flatter, but would be useful for anyone who knits for a larger girl.
