Nat and Kate start going out, break up, make up, and feel their love growing deeper. But in one moment everything changes, and all the hopes and promises of the future are shattered. Angelcake (Plays with Attitude)
Andrew Fusek Peters, Polly Peters

Hodder & Stoughton, 2001

This is an hour-long play that deals with life, love, grief, AIDS, and death. It weaves poems in with dramatic action through ensemble and physical theatre. The perception, the honesty and the love expressed in this play by two brothers experiencing a ghastly situation is both deeply moving and unexpectedly joyful. By turns thoughtful, heart-poundingly exciting, and terribly sad, this is a play that grabs the reader.

Animals Aboard!1 review
Andrew Fusek Peters

Frances Lincoln Children's Books, 2007

All Aboard for An Animal Concert!
I was roped into reading this for a story time and really got on board! The story is of a train traveling down the track at night picking up animals for a concert party. The book has fun pictures and a sing-song rhythm. Kids will catch on quickly and join in for the animal sounds. Great picture book.

Monkey's Clever Tale1 review
Andrew Fusek-Peters

Topeka Bindery, 2003

Gorgeous illustrations, good story
My sister gave this book to my 3 year old for Christmas. We read it together and he throughly enjoyed the story and the illustrations are some of the best I've seen. The only aspect of the story that was a little confusing was the 'Opposite Bank' part and the illustration that followed. Very good overall.

Here's A Little Poem: A Very First Book of Poetry9 reviews

Candlewick, 2007

Great 1st book of poetry
I bought the book for my four-year-old great-granddaughter. The poem choices are charming and the illustrations are delightful. I showed "Here's a Little Poem" to neighbors in the senior complex where I live and sold four more copies. Two of the buyers are retired primary teachers; one is a retired librarian; I am a retired Professor of English. We all agree that this is the perfect ...

The Dog Ate My Bus Pass (Pick a Poem)

Macmillan Children's Books, 2004

The Dog Ate My Bus Pass is a brilliant collection of hilarious poems featuring some of the world's most incredible excuses, apologies, tall stories and fibs. It is essential reading for all children (and some adults too!). from The Worst Excuses in the World, number 5 by Clare Bevan; I'd only left it for two minutes while I built a scale model; of Buckingham Palace out of cheese triangles, when a whole; herd of angry wildebeest stampeded through ...
