Pleasant Yet Disappointing
I just read a library copy to my 3 1/2 yr. old. The concept is good but the story progression, sentence structure and abuse of the comma did not make it enjoyable to read. Two other disappointments: 1) some of the Mom's responses to her children; and 2) the word "hate" used in place of "I don't like" by the children in the story. The illustrations are beautiful.
