Most of these arrangements have sections that seem to be fairly accurate transcriptions of Jobim's solo performances of the tunes. It's a good intro to bossa nova for a pianist who needs "little black dots" to tell them how to voice chord changes. My one complaint is that it seems to be more geared towards the bad translations(English translations of Brazilian Portuguese lyrics are always "bad" ...
