This serves as a summary of instruction for reading techers. It describes the steps needed for young students to be able to read. It is divided into 5 sections: phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary and text comprehension. It was recommended to me to read before I took the state Reading Specialist test since it identifies "key skills and methods central to reading achievement." ...
