A wonderful book--I still remember it 20 years later
I read this book when I was 8 years old. I am now 28, and it remains one of the best books that I read during my childhood. I knew very little about slavery before reading this book, and I think reading this book gave me an ability to empathize with Cowslip and the other characters and made me more interested in learning about slavery and the Civil War than I would have been otherwise, because ...

Best Book EVER!
I thought the book was really good. At the beginning I didn't really understand where I was, but as it went on I caught up. It was really exciting and suspenseful. When I finished I was amazed the author didnt' go on with it because I wanted more!

One of my favorites of the series
I really love all the fab five books, and this was no exception. I thought it was really cool how they had first-person accounts from each of the fab fivers. I loved how Jana and Taffy made up- everyone is always dissing Jana because she acts immature sometimes, but at least she realizes it and tries to mend her faults. Beth's memory was really good, too, on how she learned it's okay to be ...

great!
This is a really wonderful book! Taffy comes back from Hollywood and is treated much differently at home. How will she leave home again once she starts to fit in if her new movie is going to be made into a television series? This book deals with the want to fit in, and how to deal with problems. I recommend this book highly especially for teenagers or anyone who wants to act.

great book in the series
I've always liked cats and dogs and it was great to read about these girls rescuing the cats and dogs from the shelter before christmas eve to keep them from being put to sleep. They raised a lot of money for that, and Melanie ended up getting her favourite dog from there for Christmas, who soon gave birth to puppies. The plot would have also been a very good plot for that Baby Sitters Club or ...

This is one of the best books I have ever read!!
I read this book a long time ago when I was visiting my dad in Orleans, Indiana. I rented it from the library and I kept saying to myself, I've got to get this book. I don't remember much about it other than a girl getting turned into a dog, but I know the rest of it is good too. Take my advise and buy this book!!

This book is very exciting with plenty of frights.
This book starts out slow but it gets going with a bizarre chain of events after the goldfish gets flushed. The events eventually lead up to the incredible ending. This book comes highly recommended.

This is a must-read if you like The Fab. Five!!
This was one of my favorites in the whole series! I don't suggest reading it though if you haven't read any of the others, though, just because you might not get the full effect. I think it is realistic to the point that friends aren't perfect all the time and have their fights. I doubt it's very logical that all five pals would dream the exact same dream, but it's a nice thought, anyway. ...

2nd Grade teacher review
I love the old buildings in New York with the gargoyles and figures that scare and interest you. I live in Texas now but there is nothing like NY. This book took me to the places in NY that I remember and love. I loved to walk in Central Park. Having the horses ride in the Park was great! I enjoyed the characters. I read the book to my 4th graders and now my second graders ...

I read the Twilight Series when I was a teen back in the 80's. I was so excited to find the books again! These are fun "scary" books that deal with the super natural but are not as graphic as present day horror stories.

VERY good!
This was the story of Christie right after she's arrived in England and is trying to settle down, make friends, get used to things (like school) and get over her homesicknesses. Meanwhile, the Fab. Five back in the USA are trying to get over the move as well, and decide they should get another member to their clique. I think that part was kinda dumb, because it was too soon. I won't tell ...

My Kids Really Enjoyed...
(Since there is no book description this is from the back of book) Fitzgerald Traflon III hates the food at Maple Grove Middle School-it's totally gross. The pizza tastes like cardboard, the spaghetti like glue, and the hot dogs like rubber. Fitz has even heard the hamburgers are make from horse meat! Then Miss Buggy takes over the cafeteria, and things start to change. Fitz's friends ...
