Food = Happiness
It says in big print on the back cover "Food = Happiness" and it sure does, if it's tasty, that is, and if you don't overdo it. I was a big girl in school, not big boned, fat, because I over did it. Now I'm thin, because I watch my weight, but I still love to eat, so instead of stuffing myself, I eat in moderation, but I don't moderate the taste. For me, food does equal happiness. It is possible ...

Want to Rent an Inspiring Movie and Not Sure What to Choose?
I am always looking for recommendations of those movies I truly do not want to miss, especially when I am renting and overwhelmed by the vast array of movies on the shelves at my local rental outlet. This unique title is chock full of suggestions so that I can look at movies to fit my mood and inspire me accordingly. They list "Antianxiety" movies (I was thrilled to see quotes from Adaptation: ...

Better Than Before
Advanced Cinematherapy : The Girl's Guide to Finding Happiness One Movie at a Time is pretty much like the orginal Cinematherpy, in the fact that it delivers movies for every emotion possibily known to women. But for those who had a bone to pick with the orginal book (many people complained that the movies listed were ones they had already seen),or if you adore movies from a long ago by-gone era, ...

Craptacular
Unless you use this book straight away after taking an intensive Calculus II course, you're going to have absolutely no clue how they are doing any of the problems. They leave the "explanations" at an unacceptably high-level abstraction so that only those very freshly well-versed in Calculus can venture an understanding. Also contains no refreshers, not even a simple list of common integrals or ...

Awesome!
I absolutely adore this book. I work at Bath and Body Works and we carried this for a few months. Every time I worked, I found myself skimming through this. I finally broke down and bought it. I'm so glad I did! It's absolutely fab. No matter what mood you're in, this book has a chapter devoted to it. I've used it on many a night before going to the video store. I've found some of my favorite ...

West Boylston is located at what was the junction of the Quinapoxet and Stillwater Rivers and the south branch of the Nashua River. The town?s center developed here to take advantage of the waterpower for industry. In the 1890s, the state of Massachusetts recognized this abundance of water as ideal for a reservoir. In the late 1890s and early 1900s, the center of town and almost all the local industries were destroyed to create the Wachusett ...

Don't buy this software.
It's old and outdated. It doesn't produce publication quality graphics. It's not accelerated for PowerMac. It's hard to use. If you already own Mathematica, just get DynPac from Mathsource. DynPac has a steeper learning curve, but produces more useful graphs and data.

An amazing treat making great strides for gay literature
This is an extremely entertaining and amusing book, perfect for anyone who has trouble finding that movie-night-feel-good-rental when you're in the mood for some queer therapy. Not only for gay people, the book lists movies, recipes, and little indulgences that will pamper and pacify even the most stressed out straights on gays. With sections dedicated to Judy, Bette, Madonna, the book streams a ...

Guys Like to Watch Movies with Girls, too...
I totally disagree with the negative review posted previously. I think movie reviews are entirely subjective (thus the long-standing success of Ebert and Etc.). If everybody thought the same, there wouldn't be a Shrek sequel. Personally, I thought Rear Window was one of the more romantic Hitchcock films, and the restored version is a superb suspensful movie and the romantic tension between James ...

An excellent sampling of New Mexico women in history
More Than Petticoats: Remarkable New Mexico Women is an excellent sampling of women in New Mexico history. This book offers brief biographies of women, crossing ethnic and cultural barriers and spanning several hundred years of herstory. Some of the women included in this volume are Mabel Dodge Luhan (patron of early Southwest Arts), Mary Colter (Fred Harvey/Santa Fe Railroad architect), Georgia ...

damn good
With all the politically correct retellings of classic tales flying around the book market these days I'm surprised there hasn't been one of these sooner. But now its here and its great. Some of the stories are better that others, Wuthering Heights, The Scarlet Letter and Gone With the Wing are the best but they're all amusing & entertaining. I only hope the authors will honor us with some ...
