A story that takes place in the not too distant future with the First Woman President. Devlyn is charasmatic, tough, and does not take any bull. Lauren is a succesful biographer who is private, work driven, and fiesty when the circumstances warrant. For Lauren the question becomes how do you date the President and try to keep your life private? And for Devlyn how do you date the most ...

Hysterical parody of the Survivor series
Very funny and very clever parody of the Survivor tv series. Reality TV never had characters as wild as these! Smart, sexy and loads of fun. This one kept me laughing from start to finish.

The Last Train Home5 reviews
Blayne Cooper

Spinsters Ink, 2008

A poignant and involving ride
A great blend of action, adventure, mystery and old-fashioned romance (rated G to PG). An interesting twist on the "orphan in search of lost family" plot, with the main characters two strong, smart and independent women. Characters are likeable, plot moves well. Obviously well-researched. A good read, especially good summer reading.

Romance, Mystery, Intrigue... What More Could A Reader Want?
In this sequel to 'Cobb Island,' Kayla Redding and Olivia Hazelwood continue their adventures together in Edinburgh Scotland, solving a "haunting" mystery and learning more about Kayla's ancestors, Bridget and Faylinn. This book is more than a double-romance (i.e., Kayla/Liv and Bridget/Faylinn), it's a mystery too. Kayla and Liv have been hired to determine if a ghostly presence in one of ...

Fantastic Follow-Up to Madam President
I am a very big fan of Blayne Cooper and T. Novan, and have read most of their published work. They certainly do not disappoint with 'First Lady.' A fantastic follow-up novel to their collaborative work 'Madam President,' 'First Lady' ties up all the loose ends while still keeping the reader fully engaged. Presidential biographer and fiancee, Lauren Strayer, plans her wedding day with help ...

Quest, 2006

And You Thought You Had Skeletons In Your Closet?!?!
I, for one, think Blanyne Cooper is one of the top 5 authors in the lesbian fiction genre. Her books are extremenly well written, interesting and sexually graphic. With 'Cobb Island' she has done it once again. I first read this book over a year ago and had an itch to revisit it recently... It was better the second time around. Kayla Redding and Olivia Hazelwood chaperone their younger ...

This is Blayne Cooper's best work yet!
Are you looking for a feel-good love story that will have you laughing out loud? Then buy this book. This story clicks on so many levels - friendship, betrayal, 1st love, true love. I've read all of Blayne Cooper's work and loved them all - she truly gets better with each new book. Loved the surprise ending. Can't wait to see what she'll write next.
