Lot of good information, but, some key things missing and some issues...
...such as: - Not very useful as a trouble shooting guide because of the way the book is structured - I needed more info on the electricals - Could add a chapter on installing additional electronic/electrical gadgets to the car - Covered range (1993 to 2004) gives a feel of a generic book

This or Chilton's six of one, half a dozen of the other
This is similar to the Chilton's book in format and completeness. Still can't figure out how to replace the speedometer cable. Better for someone a little above my amateur status, but essential if you have an older vehicle without an owner's manual. Doesn't include everything ( I still don't know what a couple of the buttons on the dash do) but is as complete as Chilton's with better ...

This book is easy reading and comprehensive. It covers all of the OBD II diagnostic codes for the majority of auto builders. I've found it to be very helpful in diagnosing vehicles with the check engine light on.

Great on motor poor on the rest of drivetrain
The manual goes into the motor well. It is easy to follow. The photos are pretty poor though. It really lacks information on tranfer cases and differentials. if you are only going to remove the components and replace them it is fine, but thats is far as it goes.

The Haynes manual makes for a better supplement than it does a roadmap for your next project. A little better organized/better pictures than Chiltons but still not worth the money imo. Save yourself a few bucks and find a pdf of the factory service manual for free online.
