HE'S BACK !!!!!!!
Welcome back Jaylin, I've missed you. I like my boy Jaylin , because he keeps it real. It's not his fault he meets knuckle heads, that get addicted to his loving ,and keep putting up with being dogged. I say FIND A FOOL ,BUMP ITS HEAD, one day they'll get some stopping sense. Keep doing YOU JAYLIN. If they like it,I love it. I like all the Jaylin series, they leave you wanting more.

Brenda Jackson

Brenda Jackson out did her self
Such a wonderful read. I can honestly say that I read this book in one sitting. The words flowed off the page, a peice of literary art. I know that this is sad but this the first book that I read of hers and as soon as I finished I went and bought as many of her books as possible. And since I was on vacation I read them all. Dont we all want men like Jacob..

St. Martin's Griffin, 2004

After You Read This Read The Savvy Sistahs
I read this some years ago but I just finished the Savvy Sistahs by Brenda Jackson. This author does a great job at bringing back this family without confusing you but leaving you wanting more. You will be in for a treat if you read this book first to learn the hilarious history of the Bennett family. This book was fuuny as well as scandalous.

GREAT!!!!
Well, Well, Well the last book in this series was off the hook!!! I must say that after i read book two (My way or no way) the ending was so good that I couldn't wait to read part three just to see what happen, and then i sat back and thought about it and was hella mad at jaylin and decided to put the series to rest for a while and picked up something else, and it bothered me that i didn't finsih ...

The New Becoming Vegetarian: The Essential Guide To A Healthy Vegetarian Diet29 reviews
Vesanto Melina, Brenda Davis

Healthy Living Publications, 2003

highly recommended
This book is extremely comprehensive. It is the first book about becoming vegetarian that I have read but I am completely satisfied that it covers all the requirements of a vegetarian diet. I would also recommend this book to non-vegetarians, particularly those seeking to reduce meat intake and increase nutrition from plant foods.

Canine Body Language: A Photographic Guide Interpreting the Native Language of the Domestic Dog30 reviews
Brenda Aloff

Dogwise Publishing, 2005

Learning Dog as a Second Language! What a wonderful gift to yourself and your dog.
I recommend this book for people who already know some dog language, those who don't but would like to, and perhaps most of all to people who are afraid of dogs. The text is well-enough written by someone who does not write as a profession--it comes through rather clearly that the author is an expert in her field. There are a few substitutions of jargon for definitions which prevented my full ...

Parenting Power in the Early Years: Raising Your Child with Confidence -- Birth to Age Five34 reviews
Brenda Nixon

Wine Press Publishing, 2001

Practical and Encouraging
I wish I'd had this 95 page book when my kids were in the early years. Instead I had several thick books full of clinical studies and terms that boggled my already deteriorating confidence as a parent. Brenda's friendly "been there done that" tone allows the reader to laugh with her (I Shudda Listened)and at themselves in their desire to be the perfect parent. She's got all the stuff you ...

Fire And Desire (Arabesque)49 reviews
Brenda Jackson

Kimani Press, 2009

Trevor Grant---Have 2 Love a MAN in the Military.
Fire and Desire is just like the title suggest. Pure fire and so much desire that I couldn't go to sleep until I finished reading the book. This was the first book I read by Brenda Jackson and since then I've read all of her work and she's an excellent writer, but there was nothing like FIRE & DESIRE. Trevor and Corinthians hated each other. Seriously. She showed too much that night two ...

Becoming Vegetarian: The Complete Guide to Adopting a Healthy Vegetarian Diet23 reviews
Versanto Melina, Brenda Davis, ...

Book Publishing Company, 1995

THE vegetarian book to have!!!
This is an excellent book. I decided to become vegetarian a few years ago both for health and ethical reasons and this one one of the first books I bought - its remained the one I turn to over and over again - especially when friends or relatives questions how healthy a vegetarian diet is and I need to educate them. Some of the most fascinating parts of this book talk about the history of the ...

Something To Celebrate: The First Noel\Kwaanza Kupendi\Truly Everlasting (Arabesque)16 reviews
Felicia Mason, Margie Walker, ...

Kimani Press, 1999

Exciting, Heartwarming, Romantic!
The stories in "Something to Celebrate" are truly wonderful! I loved reading all of them. I was moved by Kia Simmons' story in "The First Noel." Kia was a dedicated woman, who because of an earlier tragedy in her life, she was not up to celebrating the holidays. Kia had lost all the joy of the Christmas season, as well as her spiritual belief. However, she was devoted to her nephew, whom she ...

Brenda M. Hampton

1st Books Library, 2003

Honor Thy Father, Love Thy Brothers........
Whew! Amazing! "How Can I Be Down?" is one that needs to be in your library. Ms. Hampton has put her thang down with this one! Kiley Abrams is 'the man' that has no shame in his game. Be it in the bed, in the kitchen, on the wall, down the hall, he is definitely 'bout it' 'bout it.' He is the ultimate player in that you will love him for his courage, his love and concern for all around him, ...

LOVE IT!!!
Beautifully written. Beautifully illustrated. This is a wonderful story and the kids (ages 7 and 3) were enthralled. It is a science book that reads like the best kind of picture book. We learned so many things from this and had fun doing it. Very highly recommended.

The Simple Touch of Fate: How the Hand of Fate Touched Our Lives Forever19 reviews
Arlene Uslander, Brenda Warneka

iUniverse, Inc., 2003

For Those Out There That are Skeptics...
The Simple Touch of Fate by Arlene Uslander and Brenda Warneka Reviewed by Ameasha Brown The defination of fate has many meanings such as the supposed force, a principal, or power that predetermines events. The inevitable events predestined by this force. A final result or consequence; on an outcome. If anyone has read Greek and Roman mythology it reads of Fates the three Goddesses ...

Thorn, Thorn, Thorn
Of all the Westmoreland men, Thorn is my favorite. He's moody, he's bold, and he's hot. A sizzler. If you enjoy Brenda Jackson's books, you won't be disappointed.

The Midwife's Song: A Story of Moses' Birth25 reviews
Brenda Ray

Karmichael Press, 2000

Engaging from the first page
A wonderfully written and fascinating tale of the midwives Puah and Shiphrah. Brenda Ray brought the characters to life unfolding a story filled with romance, inspiration and gripping drama. A very enjoyable book; I was a bit sad for it to end. I found The Midwife's Song to be a more compelling read than The Red Tent.
