A GRIPPING AND HIGHLY ABSORBING THRILLER...
This is the German text edition of "The Way You Look Tonight", a terrific novel of suspense, offering the reader a riveting, page turning read. It is hard to put down, once the reader is in its thrall. Well written in spare, clean prose, it will keep most readers guessing until the very end. The premise is fairly simple. A GRIPPING AND SUSPENSEFUL MYSTERY...
This is another page-turning, suspenseful mystery by this author. Her fans, as well as those who enjoy books by Mary Higgins Clark, will not be disappointed. The author is clearly a master of this genre. When Caroline Corday lost her five year old daughter Hayley to a murderous fiend she thought that she would never recover from the tragedy. Twenty years later, divorced from her first ...

THE PLOT THICKENS...
This is yet another well written, page turning, suspenseful read by Carlene Thompson. As far as I am concerned, Ms. Thompson is the maven for this genre. I have read all of her books to date, and she has yet to miss. This is a definite hit. Here, twenty nine year old veterinarian Natalie St. John, reeling from a broken heart, returns to her childhood home in hopes of finding solace. On the ...

MYSTERY, ROMANCE, AND SUSPENSE...ALL ROLLED INTO ONE...
The author is simply one of the best writers of this genre. She is better than Mary Higgins Clark who is the maven for this type of book. This is the French text edition of her romantic suspense novel, "Tonight You're Mine", in which Ms. Thompson keeps the reader guessing until the very end, with so many twists and turns in the plot. It is an absorbing and compelling page turner. Fifteen ...

Couldn't Put it Down!
Though I have read several of Carlene Thompson's novels, this one was my favorite. It offers suspense, drama, twists, and a hint of the supernatural. I couldn't put this book down. If you are not a Carlene Thompson fan, read "Black for Rememberance" and you'll likely become one. If you already are a fan, you won't want to miss this one -- it's one of her best!

Thompson is becoming one of my favorite authors!
This is the 5th book I've read by Thompson and it was great. I was surprised by the ending, and although the characters were without real depth, the plot and suspense make up for it. Also good by Thompson-In the Event of My Death, Black for Remembrance, If She Should Die, and Since You've Been Gone.

the best thriller I have read lately
I have been reading a lot of thrillers lately, and have decided that Carlene Thompson is by far my favorite writer in this genre. Her books are very well written. Her characters are much more intelligent and self reliant than most. I have been distracted and annoyed by the poor grammar, characters' names changing out of the author or editor's carelessness, and overly elaborate descriptions of ...
