A Light in Babylon : A Novel Based on the Life of Daniel1 review
Carole C. Carlson

Grason, 1985

THANK YOU DANIEL
The author managed to transport me back in time to the day of Daniel. The way she portrayed him from his childhood through his adult life made me feel as if he were an old friend. It was wonderful to re-live the ordeal of the fiery furnace. Overall, I just came away from the book with a renewal of the value that it is always right to do the right thing.

Satan Is Alive and Well on Planet Earth19 reviews
Hal Lindsey, Carole C. Carlson

Zondervan, 1972

Buy This Book!
Wow, what a read. Although it was written in the 1970's, the message has not changed. I found it very interesting that the author talks about "new age religion" such as Scientology as a foreboding problem and alas some thirty years later, it has become a main stream religion, leading many people away from Christ. So it was fascinating to learn what concerned Christians then and how it has ...

The Late Great Planet Earth82 reviews
Hal Lindsey

Zondervan, 1970

Wish I'd read this decades ago
I wish I'd picked up this book on the amazing truth of biblical prophecy when it was first published. I might not have wasted 30+ years jousting with windmills. Even now, it's an exciting read.

Escape The Coming Night13 reviews
David Jeremiah, Carole C. Carlson

W Publishing Group, 2001

"Right up there with 'Dragons, Grasshoppers, & Frogs' as best in class!"
While not every word of the tape series in contained in the book, this book is nevertheless one of the best on Revelation. Until I read "Dragons, Grasshoppers, & Frogs", I thought this was the easiest commentary on the book. But "Dragons" is specifically written for teens and newbies, and is quite a bit more practical and better organized. Jeremiah is premillennial and pretribulational. If you ...

In My Father's House: The Years Before "the Hiding Place" (Corrie Ten Boom Library)5 reviews
Corrie Ten Boom, Carole C. Carlson

REVELL, 2000

The best of Tante Corrie...
As someone who voraciously gobbles up the writings of Corrie ten Boom, I have to say that _In My Father's House_ is my favorite. Anyone who has read _The Hiding Place_ , _Tramp for the Lord_, _A Prison and Yet_, or other books relating to Corrie's Nazi concentration camp imprisonment and her resulting ministry should do themselves a favor and savor _In My Father's House_. I am so glad this book ...

The Teacher Who Couldn't Read ("Focus On the Family")5 reviews
John Corcoran, Carole C. Carlson

Authentic Lifestyle, 1995

An amazing story of true curage
This book should be mandatory reading for all teachers and those going into the profession. After reading this book you will have a insight into the secret world of the illiterate. Before the book I imagined the illiterate as people that brought this on themselves by not caring or giving up on the educational system now I see it as it truely is a disability. This book would be great for parents ...
