Office 2007 Bible: For experienced Users Only!
I am an experienced Access user; however, the new Office 2007 took a little time to learn. If you are a beginner trying to learn the 2007 version, I suggest you purchase a more step-by-step book. With my experience, I found it beneficial after I learned the new 2007 ribbon.

Awesome book to get up and running on Access 03 Programming
I bought this book to go along with Access 2003 Bible - also written by Cary Prague. I did some of the tutorials in this book and used the Bible to help expand my knowledge and found it very useful. This book gave me the first layer into Access Programming, but I needed it to get me going!

Not solution oriented enough
I've been using this for a few weeks and like the accompanying CD which allows you to search the entire book easily. What I don't like is that too often I found myself struggling to find solutions that existed but were not documented. Like what do you do when you've set up a report and want to add a field that's not on the Field List. The trick is to go back and expand the query the report is ...

Great book from the Access Experts!!!!!
Back in 1999 I purchased the Access 97 Bible to help me computerize my employer's auditing system into and Access database. The book was great I completed my task with such ease thanks to the book. Mr. Prague and Mr. Irwin continue with the great tradition of producing great access books. The Access 2002 Bible is a great book I've learned such a great deal more after reading the book I highly ...

Excellent book for beginners and refreshers
I purchased this book and found it very useful and practical. It didn't scare me with a lot of cryptic terminology and charts. And it didn't lose me in a sea of mind-boggling technical jargon I was not familiar with. It stepped through the building process comprehensively, for the most. There were a few glitches on the CD, and in some parts some of the exercises didn't seem to work or produced ...

The best fit for me
I found this book fit my need quite well. I am a senior level Oracle DBA, have some VB experience (not much), good at Oracle developer 2000 (form and report), meaning I have solid database knowledge, skills, and programming skills. What I want is to quickly become good at Access application development for some small Access projects, and this book gives me just what I need.
