Numbered Account160 reviews

I liked it
the book is effectively a page-turner - I read it in 3 days. I only hope it's really fictional, for it paints Swiss bankers in a very black light!

Dell, 2003

A RIVETING NARRATION
Actor and Audie Award finalist James Daniels gives a riveting performance of this globe spanning story propelled by rapid fire action and dark intrigue. His voice ably conveys toughness, compassion, and regret. He doesn't over-dramatize, allowing Reich's powerful words to carry listeners along. As many know, Reich has earned an enviable reputation as a master of international intrigue. ...

The Devil's Banker31 reviews
Christopher Reich

Random House Audio, 2003

Slowly builds into a solid novel...
Christopher Reich writes a different kind of thriller novel. As many reviewers have noted, his novels focus on international finance. This one is no different but its focus is on how terrorists can use finance to further their cause. My biggest complaint of the book was that it took some time to develop the story and the characters. It actually made for some slow reading for the first 100 ...

The Runner1 review
CHRISTOPHER REICH, 2000

Gripping Action, Well Paced
Superior writing by Reich, capably narrated, excellent story with a new take on an interesting piece of history - postwar Berlin and Germany as East and West grapple for power. Having listened to "Numbered Account" this is a more plausible, captivating story with believable characters.

What Judge doesn't realize is that Seyss has escaped his prison and is running on a deadly mission, a part of a secret conspiracy, to make a killing which will be a ...

Rules of Deception61 reviews
Christopher Reich

Doubleday, 2008

This is a keeper!!
I hadn't read a Christopher Reich novel in a while and this one quickly reminded me as to what an entertaining and accomplished writer he is. The story quickly drags you inside the covers of the book and keeps things churning as Jonathan Ransom is drawn deeper and deeper into a mystery that was not of his making. Things are seldom what they seem in this story of intrigue and mystery and ...
