Planning a trip with twin, toddler boys just got easier!
With toddler twin boys that we love to take on many trips, this book has become a wonderful guide for us. We always wonder if a place we might like to go would be appropriate for our young sons, and with this book in our hands, we can find out. In addition, it has given us some ideas on places to take them, that we did not know about or had not considered. A must have for families that plan to ...

Mammoth from the Inside: The Honest Guide to Mammoth & the Eastern Sierra6 reviews
Colleen Dunn Bates

Prospect Park Publishing, 2004

I'm a Mammoth Lakes resident and learned things I never knew
Very well written and concise guidebook on Mammoth Lakes and the surrounding area and region. We enjoyed Ms. Dunn-Bates light sense of humor, which made for easy and understandable reading. My wife and I have been residents of Mammoth Lakes for over 20 years, making the trek to L.A. and back many times, and Ms. Dunn-Bates wrote about stops and sights along 395 that we now must make time for! ...

Prospect Park Books, 2007

Very Impressed.
I believe this is my first review for a book on Amazon. I have bought many books over the years and some were pretty good but none ever commanded a review from me. This book has and is everything I could ask for in a guide to Santa Monica. I almost didn't even consider this book because it had no reviews and I was unable to search inside the book. Luckily, I was able to search inside this ...

Prospect Park Books, 2008

Loved the first edition, looking forward to the newest scoop!
I love this beautiful, glossy guidebook to my hometown and find myself referring to it frequently. My husband has tried many of the hiking trails listed. This book makes a great holiday gift! I plan to buy several copies of the new edition to send to former Pasadenans who will be homesick when they browse through this lively, lovely guide.
