These books sparked my daughters intrest in reading chapter books. I started reading them with her in kindergarten and by first grade she was reading them on her own. I would read each chapter as she completed it, then ask her questions. She has really good comprehension of these books and lots of laugher while she is reading. I purchased Katie the Kitten Fairy and Lauren the Puppy Fairy to use with my R.E.A.D. group at a local elementary school. Both books were quickly chosen to read. The children seemed to really enjoy them and I look forward to purchasing more of this series to use with my R.E.A.D. students next year.

This slight chapter book is a nice finale to the Jewel Fairies series, but it doesn't stand on its own. It keeps referring back to the previous adventures of `tweens Rachel and Kirsty, who in earlier books (see below) have recovered jewels from a queen's crown. The seven books should be read in order for the story to make the most sense.

Fantastic Series
My daughter loves this series of books - the biggest problem we have is that she won't stop after one chapter. She's 5, so we're reading them to her now, but soon she'll be re-reading them herself. We started with book 1 of the Rainbow Fairies and are now on the Weather Fairies Series. I highly recommend them!

My daughter is 9 years old and has went nuts over these rainbow magic books. She started reading them about 2years ago and she never seems to be able to put the book down and is waiting impatiently for the next series to come out for purchase....I totally recommend this series for any girl ages 5 through 10......

My 6 year old daughter loves these fairy books. They are fun stories for young girls. I would have given the product 5 stars if the boxed set contained all 7 books instead of only the first 5. We had to buy the last two separately and they cost as much as we paid for the boxed set.
