I bought this book as a gift for my husband, but ended up reading it myself. I bought the book because he loves Hemis and the photography was beautiful, but I ended up reading it because it was a great story.

Great story about some amazing people
I followed the story of the Minnesota National Guard in Iraq from the day they announced that they were being deployed. I worried about these soldiers and felt for their families every time I heard a member was injured or killed. After reading this book, I had a better idea of what these courageous young men really went through. I'm grateful for the opportunity to have read this book.
