Kennedy Space Center: Gateway to Space7 reviews

Great book
Easy to read and understand. It gives a comprehensive story of the Kennedy Space Center as well as the various missions NASA has undertaken. I understand now the different types of rockets and the history leading up to the Apollo 11 successful moon walk. This book was a page-turner. I could not put it down and read it all in one weekend.

Great book for the Star Wars fans
My son and his friends are big Star Wars fans. They are all between the ages of 5-8. They loved this book. They really enjoyed finding out all the details in the movie. While my son watches the movies he looks up and reads about the movie. It is a great book. Lots of fun...

The Visual Dictionary 0f Star Wars, Episode I - The Phantom Menace44 reviews

Great answers for "Mommy, what's that called?"
We have a 4 1/2 year old daughter obsessed with the Star Wars girls (Shaak Ti in particular) and this is good because it tells all about the different charachters, places, vehicles and robots of the movie in easy to understand, yet complete language. Very good for the little Star Wars fan or anyone who would like to go a little deeper, but not THAT deep.

Star Wars X-Wing: A Pocket Manual (Star Wars/A Pop Up Book)1 review
David West Reynolds

Running Press Book Publishers, 1998

Unintriguing. Get the "Technical Manual" instead.
Yawn- if you're serious about star wars, most of this stuff you already know. You can find out everything that's really good to know in this book from reading X-Wing Rogue Squadron, and have some fun besides. Skip this dull bite-sized tome and get a science textbook. It would be more fun.

The Visual Dictionary of Star Wars, Episodes IV, V, & VI: The Ultimate Guide to Star Wars Characters and ...43 reviews
David West Reynolds

Dorling Kindersley Publishers Ltd, 1998

Very informative!
This was one of my very first Star Wars books and I half credit it with my burgeoning interest in the expanded Star Wars universe. Includes great pictures and information such as what those little knobs on Darth Vader's chestplate are for to what exactly Salacious Crumb (that little Kowakian monkey lizard that works for Jabba the Hutt) does! If you have no idea what I'm talking about, then ...

Incredible Cross-sections of Star Wars, Episode I - The Phantom Menace: The Definitive Guide to the Craft31 reviews

A definate for vehicle lovers!
I always wanted to see more and to be able to look inside of the vehicles more closely, and this book provides that information (and more more) in great detail. I really like the mini illustrations of where in the vehicles that events from the movies took place, it helps to "put a name to a face".
