Mop top (Cadmus books) 6 reviews Don Freeman
E.M. Hale, 1961
Mop Top I like the story because the little boy in the story had a mop for a head.Thay called him that because his hair looks bad. That sounded like me. I like the story a lot because the boy loved his mother very much to do this for her.

Dandelion 10 reviews Don Freeman
Demco Media, 1977
My 5 Year Old's Favorite Book My 5 year old daughter takes this book out of the school library every week. Every once in a while we have to insist she gets something else because we're tired of reading it over and over. But it is a wonderful story with a very good lesson. I've decided to buy it so the other kids at school can have a chance to read the library copy.

Oracle Replication: Snapshot, Multi-master & Materialized Views Scripts (Oracle In-Focus series) 4 reviews John Garmany, Robert G. Freeman
Rampant Techpress, 2003
Excellent technical detail This is a great reference for Oracle replication and does an excellent job of explaining the issues, especially multimaster replication. I have Freemans's Oracle new features book also, and I enjoy the style and cadence of the writing style. The text is not preachy and shows with clear examples all of the ways to set up and use Oracle replication. I highly recommend this book, and the price is ...

FRESH AND APPEALING AS EVER Countless fans who enjoyed the classic Corduroy books by Caldecott Honoree Don Freeman know that youngsters will be equally attracted to Earl the Squirrel. Freeman's illustrations are as fresh and appealing as ever in this story of the little squirrel whose mother said, "Earl, It is high time you went out and learned to find acorns on your own."

Norman the Doorman 7 reviews Don Freeman
The Viking Press, 1959
Elegant Soft Pastels Highlight Warm, Artistic Mouse Humor! This book is a visual and literary play on the ever-inspiring animal name of dormouse. These are a kind of rodent that in some ways resemble a squirrel. Every humor writer who has ever seen that name has wanted to have fun with it. The wonderful Don Freeman (of Corduroy fame) takes that artistic license one step further by building a Horatio Alger story around his door mouse and doing his own ...

Pocket for Corduroy 7 reviews Don Freeman
Live Oak Media, 2004
More adventures with Lisa's very own bear. . . In this installment of Corduroy's adventures with Lisa, we see that some time has passed since she first brought him home from the department store. She's taller, wearing her hair a little straighter, and her mom looks like she had a makeover, too. Corduroy, however, is wearing the same green overalls he did in the first book and has managed to keep both buttons on this time. Early on in the ...

Harcourt Brace, 1940
Excellent book The book is composed of different events that happened in the author's life. It is the life of an Armenian immigrant family in the beautiful San Juaquin Valley. Although, the story is about events that are happening in a particular Armenian family, in reality it is the life all immigrants in America. The stories some how effects all Americans. I am positive that some where in our lifetime ...

The Chalk Box Story 1 review Don Freeman
Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, 1976
Lovely classic book of colors I wish this book would get reprinted so that fans of Corduroy could explore this lesser known work by the author. I loved this book as a child and was able to find an inexpensive library copy for my own children to enjoy. Each color works together to draw a picture of a boy on a desert island who gets rescued by a ship. This is a nice story that teaches colors with an adjunct lesson in ...
