South of the Big Four16 reviews
Don Kurtz

Avon Books (P), 1996

A Good Glimpse into the Heartland
So many times while driving along one Interstate or another I pass those distant farms, and wonder who lives there. When I read South of the Big Four, I got a glimpse into those farm houses, barns, and souls that til the soil. Mr. Kurtz spinned a tale of people. A tale of hopes, dreams, and disappointments. Don Kurtz

Collectors Pr, 1997

Part of a Really Useful Series
I run enrichment programs for school age children and this book along with the other books in the Vignette series from the Collector's Press have been terrific in introducing kids to great artists. This book does a great job of chronicling Mucha's life and career. I highly recommend it as an introduction to Art Nouveau and Alphonse Mucha.

All reader preconceptions quickly go ...
