Only after a short time skipping around this reference volume, I found it to be riddled with shortcomings, glaring omissions and obvious inaccuracies. This is a fun book just to flip though. I did notice a few errors but I do not think my knowledge of the events would rate as expert enough to come up with 130. The Penguin dictionary of the third Reich is better. Get this book for what it is, a time killer or help with trivial pursuit.

Wonderful, addictive book of facts
I bought this book on a whim cause I'm a big WWII buff and I like trivia. What you get here are literally thousands of little "gems" of information about the people, places and things of WWII. What I love is the entry's are brief; alphabetical; and so darn interesting you can't put the book down. And the cool thing is if you do their is no story or characters to remember--just nuggets of info. ...
