masterpiece
Really a masterpiece! It learns you everything about afro cuban drumming/percussion. I like especially the background information and it pays a lot of attention to playing together. Most afro cuban methods don't learn you anything about playing together, this method really does. It will give you lesson material for years!

This is a great book. I was surprised no one had reviewed it already. This book is similar to Uribe's "Essence of Afro-Cuban Percussion and Drum Set" (also recommended). The first half is an overview of brazilian percussion instruments that is wonderful for those of us new to this area.
