One Night of Passion (Avon Romantic Treasure) 15 reviews Elizabeth Boyle
Avon, 2002
A deeply moving and very exciting love story! This was my first Boyle book but will not be my last. I really found Colin a very compelling and interesting hero. You knew immediately that he was not guilty of the herendous charges against him and that he was a highly honorable person. Just the way he dealt with Georgie the first nite they meet at the Cyprian Ball - he did everything in his power to treat her in a highly honorable manner, yet ...

No Marriage of Convenience (Avon Romantic Treasure) 12 reviews Elizabeth Boyle
Avon, 2000
Written with absolutely no intentions for sequel(s), author met her goal I loved this book! I hated to see it end. I loved all the characters, and I can see why the author intentionally did not want to write sequels, and accomplished the task by being sure that every character in the book who was eligible (not to mention 'straight') for marriage got married in this book. The result: 3 marriages at Gretna Green. This may not appeal to some readers, but it was so ...

Jack the Rake is also sent to the country because his brother the Duke has had enough of his embarressements. The book starts nine years after the kiss/ruin. Once Tempted 9 reviews Elizabeth Boyle
Avon, 2001
A very adventurous Regency romance "Once Tempted" is my first book by the author and in my opinion a very good one. The setting is Regency London and the Penninsula during the Napoleonic Wars.Miss Olivia Sutton is a young lady living under a false name since she was betrayed by her so-called lover, the Marquis of Bradstone. Bradstone sullied her name and reputation involving her in treason. Major Robert Danvers arrives in London ...

Avon, 2003
Kept me from getting any work done for two days! I just finished Stealing the Bride and loved it!! What a fun book! I absolutely loved Temple and Diana and thought they were the best characters I've read in a long time. The plot line was humorous and kept the reader guessing page after page. This book gave me a really enjoyable few days, when I didn't get any work done, because I wanted to keep reading! :-)

Tempted By the Night Elizabeth Boyle
Avon, 2008
A Secret Admirer . . . They say he's a shameless rake who cares for nothing but pleasure, a rogue who spends his nights in London's lustiest locales, gambling and carousing until dawn. But Lady Hermione Marlowe refuses to believe that the handsome gentleman she's loved from afar for so long could be so wicked. If only she had a way to prove to the ton that Lord Rockhurst is as proper as the rest. If only she knew what he really did under ...

Something About Emmaline 12 reviews Elizabeth Boyle
Avon, 2005
The MOST FUN I've ever had reading! 10 STARS I LOVED Something About Emmaline! I could not put this book down. Yes, the story is a little far-fetched, but so what. It was so much fun and I was thoroughly entertained.
I love the way Ms. Boyle writes. I normally skim through the boring parts of books, but there truly weren't any. As a matter of fact, I re-read parts that I especially enjoyed (and there were many of them!)
If you ...

Science As Sacred Metaphor: An Evolving Revelation Elizabeth Michael Boyle
Liturgical Press, 2006
For Sister Elizabeth Michael Boyle, there's nothing quite like the world of sciencewith its "aha!" moments, quandaries, and inscrutable mysteriesto usher the modern seeker into the divine presence of God. In this book, she creates a sacred space at the intersection where science and faith meet. Sister Boyle says that Jesus, who used the lives of birds and wildflowers as signs of the divine would probably be saying today, "Consider ...

Brazen Heiress 7 reviews Elizabeth Boyle
Dell, 1998
Elizabeth Boyle is a rising star in romantic fiction! Webb Dryden had done his best to avoid Lily D'Artiers Copeland since she was a fifteen year old "hoyden". Now a secret mission to France to recover incriminating documents about his fellow secret agents forces him to spend more time with her than he'd like to fathom. However, Webb finds that his hoyden has grown into a temptress, and the most dangerous thing of all is that he's beginning ...

Female Genital Cutting: Cultural Conflict in the Global Community Elizabeth Heger Boyle
The Johns Hopkins University Press, 2002
The practice of female genital cutting, sometimes referred to as female circumcision and common in a number of African states, has attracted increasing attention in recent years and mobilized strong international opposition. While it typically produces a visceral response of horror and revulsion in Westerners, the practice is widely regarded in some cultures as essential for proper development into womanhood and is defended by women who have ...
