I am always looking for good books with lessons or messages- this is one of those books. The idea of giving is always a good idea. As a media specialist, I have thoroughly enjoyed using SHOES with my first graders and kindergarteners. The children love to take off their shoes and wiggle those toes. They also enjoy anticipating the next page. This book is a must for any elementary library and for the home.
