This one is well done. It is a collection of five stories, Pennies, A Garden, A Nice Walk, Missing and Papa's Lemonade. The dog characters are cute and well drawn. The text is ideal for a starter in reading and fits the illustrations quite well. Recommend this one if you can find it.

This kiddie-lit classic is a wonderful story of the understanding between mother and child. Baby Sadie sings her way home, causing strangers to wonder if she is sick or hungry or thirsty, but her mother understands that Sadie is singing. The story is a touching one that children will enjoy.
