Froggy Goes to School 12 reviews Jonathan London
Scholastic, 1996
Froggy Goes to School Froggy goes to School is about a young frog who goes to school for the first time. This book taught little kids not to be afraid to go to school and that school can be fun. The reading level is about 1st grade but is a good story to read to kids for a story time or bedtime. The book was funny and it was a joy to read and I hope every one has the chance to read this book in the future.

Horrible Harry and the Christmas Surprise 2 reviews Suzy Kline
Scholastic, 1991
This is about Christmas at hospitals This book is cool. Horrible Harry is horrible because he does horrible things like putting frogs in girls' hair. Horrible likes horrible creatures, too. He gives his teacher a rocking chair with spiders on it. You should buy this book because it is a very interesting book.

Froggy Learns to Swim 5 reviews Jonathan London
Scholastic Inc., 1997
Froggy & skills mastery I agree with the other reviews that this book is especially splendid in it's illustrations, text and message. Like many young children, Froggy is fearful of the water (and, presumably, other new experiences). However, by taking it at his own pace, and with the encouragement of his mother, he soon masters his skills at swimming (anyone who has or works with young children will empathize with ...

Froggy Gets Dressed 18 reviews Jonathan London
Scholastic Inc., 1992
4 1/2 Reversive Recursive: Fun With Froggy Another in the prolific Jonathan London's "Froggy" series, this book about the amphibious one is a recursive story about all the clothes you must wear on a snowy day--and all the clothes you must take off (in the reverse order) when you forget to put some on.
In this Froggy tale, our green hero wakes up with incredible enthusiasm--it's like he was raised on caffeine--and he just CANNOT wait to ...

Froggy's Baby Sister 4 reviews Jonathan London
Puffin, 2005
Another Great Froggy Book My children enjoy the Froggy books and my husband and I are always happy when we come across a new one. This book is another great Froggy book. It is a light read that is a feel good read too! My daughter could easily relate to how hard it was to wait for her baby brother to be old enough to play with so understood Froggy's feelings. As for Froggy wanting a brother and getting a sister, it ...

Horrible Harry and the Dragon War 2 reviews Suzy Kline
Scholastic, Inc, 2003
Review by Brendan P.S. 39 The book Horrible Harry and the Dragon War is great for kids because everyone needs to understand forgiveness. First Harry and Song Lee both wanted to do a report on dragons. But Harry told Song Lee her dragon looked stupid. The lesson is you're supposed to forgive when the other person is sorry. If you're interested in the Horrible Harry series check out other books like Horrible Harry and ...

Horrible Harry review As an elementary teacher, I have a great love for children's literature. I choose Harry Horrible books frequently in my classroom. I read this book to my students at the beginning of the school year. The adventures of Harry and his friends throughout the Horrible Harry adventures are engaging its readers. These are some of the first chapter books that they pick up. It is a great simple ...

Froggy Goes to the Doctor 9 reviews Jonathan London
Scholastic Inc., 2003
My Boys Love This Book! The first time we read this book, my four-year-old twin boys were rolling on the floor laughing hysterically! They loved it when Froggy's mom made him the underwear that looked like a diaper. Equally funny was when Froggy fell off the bench, grossed out the doctor with his bad breath, and accidentally knocked her down when she checked his reflexes. My twins ask for this highly entertaining book ...

Froggy Rides a Bike 1 review Jonathan London
Scholastic, Inc., 2006
My son has a new favorite Froggy is a good character for my son to identify with. My son is almost 4 and thinks Froggy is the coolest. When i ask him what he wants for breakfast, he now wants "a bowl of flies" just like Froggy has. For him, it's Raisin Bran. I have now 6 Froggy books to our collection and a bunch more are available at our library so this author has definately got an audience.

Horrible Harry Goes to the Moon (Horrible Harry) 10 reviews Suzy Kline
Puffin, 2002
loveable set of characters I first started reading Suzy Kline books when she became my son's second grade teacher. She is a gem and she writes books about things that happen to her characters that kids can relate to. I am such a fan that I bought everything she and her husband Rufus have written. All of her characters are good kids that get into little messy situations, and by the end of the story they have discovered how ...

Horrible Harry and the Green Slime This book has four chapters. In the first chapter the class picked secret pals. In the second chapter the principal found a cigarette under a cafeteria table. After that the class drew posters about the bad effects of smoking. In the third chapter they read Charlotte's Web. They put cobwebs all over the school. In the last chapter Harry taught the class how to spike their hair. My favorite ...

Be Still, Be Quiet! Froggy's hungry and all he can think about is hamburgers and flies. But since it's his parents anniversary, he has to get dressed up and have dinner at some fancy resturant. At these places, you have to remember to keep quiet, be still and not put your feet on the table. A very hard thing to do for a young frog. Froggy Goes to Bed 14 reviews Jonathan London
Topeka Bindery, 2001
PLEASE don't take it so seriously I have to disagree with the reviewers who consider this a manual for bad behavior. Yeah, I'd never let my kid get away with the stuff Froggy seems to, but that's precisely why the kids find it funny! My almost-two-year-old gets a BIG kick out of saying "FFRRROOOGGGYY" along with me, and "I found it!" is a chorus of triumph. As for teaching the child delaying tactics, well, my son has been trying ...
