Sibling torture and love at its best!
Please, Louise perfectly captures the tense relationship between Louise, about 4ish, and her older brother Jake, maybe 7ish. She follows him around, messes up his stuff, and just generally annoys him. When he tries to ditch her by going outside to read a book, she follows him, of course - but when he looks up from his book, Louise is nowhere to be found. Weirdly, Jake was just wishing that Louise ...

Outstanding biography for young people!
I just finished reading Albert Einstein, and I rushed over to post this review. This is an outstanding entry in a fine series. The author, Frieda Wishinsky, really makes you understand Albert Einstein both as a scientist and as a human being. Her clear yet thoughtful text lets readers explore the contradictions of a brilliant man--and still shows Einstein as a towering giant of the 20th century. ...

Wonderful tale of a positive sibling relationship
Oonga Boonga is a great example of a positive sibling relationship. My sister and Mom picked this up at the library for my nephews. This is a great book for a parent to read to an older sibling, because it helps to foster a positive relationship between siblings. Baby Louise is crying and no one is able to calm her down until her older brother Daniel whispers "Oonga Boonga" to her. ...

Loved it!
I loved "What's the Matter with Albert?" I bought it as a gift for my 7 year old granddaughter Lauren, who loves to read. Before giving any book to her, I always make sure to read it first, so we can have phone discussions about it. (I am a long-distance grandma and she lives 3000 miles away.) This book was an excellent choice because of the lessons it will teach her. I loved the way Billy found ...
