Gayle Lynds' Mesmerized has it all: an exciting, believeable story with likeable protagonists and antagonists you dislike and fear, a plot that evolves naturally, and a satisfying conclusion. She is, in my humble opinion, even better than her late mentor, Robert Ludlum, because her plots are not as involved and convoluted, and she adds a human element that Ludlum never offered.

I like spy novels and this one is one of the best as it keeps the action moving at all times. Not as good as the first two, but still entertaining
Too many characters make a story difficult to follow and that's the case with this book in the Covert One series. However, the premise of this super computer is startling and makes for a good story line. I do love the main characters, Marty, John Smith, Randy and the droll englishman. Worth a listen, especially on tape.
