Good choice
This is the second book of the series that my son reads (6y).. he took it to school today and he read half of it all by himself. Some parts of the book are a little difficult to understand but he likes the book and gets the main idea. I recommend the series..

For Bologna's Sake, I Love It!!
This is the sixth book in the series, and this is by far the most outrageous. Melvin's side-kick, Candice, jumps out of the book and ties up the narrator and creates a way out of their predictament. It is very exciting. I enjoy these books. They are quite simple for me, I am eleven years old, but none-the-less, entertaining. Really good.
My son read this book cover-to-cover last month and said that he enjoyed it very much ("really good"). He enjoyed the first two books in the series and said this one was the best so far. His favorite parts are the characters (Melvin) and their adventures.

The Curse of the Bologna Sandwich is just that kind of book. Fun readiing
My son discovered these books two years ago at the library and really liked them. He is a strong reader but would rather play than read, so I was delighted that he found a book that he actually looks forward to reading. He looks forward to these books coming out and really likes the stories. I recommend them for helping your children discover a love for books and reading.
