Great answers for "Mommy, what's that called?"
We have a 4 1/2 year old daughter obsessed with the Star Wars girls (Shaak Ti in particular) and this is good because it tells all about the different charachters, places, vehicles and robots of the movie in easy to understand, yet complete language. Very good for the little Star Wars fan or anyone who would like to go a little deeper, but not THAT deep.

Extraordinary! An amazing idea for a book w/ incredible art
I just saw this book yesterday. I don't think it was marketed as much as the other books. That's a shame because it's magnificient. I am truly blown away by the content and pictures of the locations from Episode I. The art is unbelievable. The detail level is extreme and it must have taken an enormous amount of time for these two artists to complete this work. Every detail you could ...

Incredible Cross-sections of Star Wars, Episode I - The Phantom Menace: The Definitive Guide to the Craft31 reviews

A definate for vehicle lovers!
I always wanted to see more and to be able to look inside of the vehicles more closely, and this book provides that information (and more more) in great detail. I really like the mini illustrations of where in the vehicles that events from the movies took place, it helps to "put a name to a face".

Another great cross section book for Star Wars
I just recently received this book and all I can say is that it's the bomb! The pages are full of intricate details about both the vehicles and story of Episode II. The foldout of the Republic Dropship is definitely a highlight of the series. If you like Star Wars and want to know more than you can possibly imagine about Star Wars engineering, pick this book up right away.

Surprisingly fun for kids of all ages!
I found this book to be too full of information to be a comfortable bedtime book, but my four year old son didn't seem to mind my skipping the words and just ooh-ing and aah-ing over the illustrations with him. My son also preferred my reading of it over his father's, because dad would get so absorbed in each page that he would forget to turn the pages! My son especially loved being able to ...

Star Wars Classic Sticker Book

DK CHILDREN, 1999

A menacing Tusken Raider angrily swinging his gaffi stick; Han in classic smuggler garb taking aim with his DL-44; a T-65 X-Wing, strike foils extended, going into a dive: calling this the Ultimate Star Wars Sticker Book isn't really an overstatement. With over 60 full-color, well-chosen stickers from the original Star Wars trilogy, DK Publishing has put together a collection of characters, ships, droids, and gadgets that'll please die-hard ...
