Celtic Tea with Friends
All of Elizabeth Knight's books have been enchanting! This one, however, is very, very special. The content inspires a host/hostess to plan an event to share with special fiends in the home environment serving up foods, tea and hospitality. The history herein calls us all to travel. Exquisite! > More Fun When You Win!
This is a great book! I read it before my last trip to Las Vegas and it really helped me. Rather than wasting my time and money on sucker games, I followed the advice and played the games that gave me the best odds. Not only did I come out ahead for the trip, but the casino comped my room! I find that going gambling is a lot more fun when you win. This book can really improve your chances. ...

Great Book
Secrets, Lies and Alibis is amazingly accurate in it's portrayal of detectives and bad guys. Well written, it's a page turner I couldn't put down. Can't wait for the next book. A fan in Portland, OR.

Beautiful pictures and printquality
This book has beautiful pictures and the quality of the printing is great. However the last page with the colophon had some serieus black and gray scratches. Those are not acceptable for the quality books Insight Editions brings out. There should be a better quality control on such books

No Second Blessing
Included in the exegetes is Jim Boyce, Murray J Harris, W. Harold Mare and Everett F Harrison. Everett Harrison brilliantly renders the difficult Calvinistic/Armenian passage in Roman 8:28-30 'Paul seldom refers to the love of God on the part of the saints (1 Cor 2:9; 8:3). Nor does he introduce it here as the ground for the benefit he has been describing, for it is not meritorious, but ...

Concise, well-written, and effective
Reading this, I could not help making comparisons with the play, "Death of a Salesman." While James Welch may not appreciate his story of a half-breed American Indian being compared to a play about a very white, middle-class male, I found my reaction to both very similar. Despite the sense of doom, from the very beginning, I found myself foolishly hoping, as I did with Willy Loman, that Jim ...

Brilliant Overview of Kentucky's History
I took a class at Morehead State University entitled "History of Kentucky", and this book was chosen as one of the textbooks. We weren't required to read the entire text, using it as more of a reference than anything else, but I opted to slog through the entire book nonetheless. There's an incredible amount of information about Kentucky, starting with pre-history and continuing to the present ...

This proves that the Holy Spirit is the Author of the Bible!
If you want more understanding as you read the Bible, read this book. This book proves that God is the Master Mathematician and we're not. Actually, I'm not any good at math at all, but I understand the basic concept Harrison is writing about. As a matter of fact, its easy to do this stuff yourself. For example: In Chapter 8 I read that "153" is Jesus' celestial number, so I found out ...

Ary Stillman was a key figure in the development of 20th century modern art
Ary Stillman was a key figure in the development of 20th century modern art, abandoning the popular impressionist techniques in his early career and becoming a member of the New York School and the avant-garde wing of modern painters who exhibited regularly. He has many accomplishments - but is relatively unknown - so any college-level art history collection needs ARY STILLMAN, a guide to his ...

From the opening pages this book grabbed me and didn't let go. What makes this book a great read is the unique, detailed crime scene investigations and the interesting cast of characters.
