Harry Potter Boxset Books 1-7 283 reviews J. K. Rowling
Arthur A. Levine Books, 2007
Very Nice I notice alot of people are complaining about the box that the books are in because it's cardboard. Some people can just never be satisfied. So if you're picky and never satisfied than heed those reviews. I'm pleased with the box set. It has the hardcover books which fit snuggly inside and as some people said there are stickers in there too, which I've not used yet because I do not want to waste ...

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Book 5) 5870 reviews J. K. Rowling, Mary GrandPré
Scholastic Paperbacks, 2004
My second favorite of the series The largest and second best, in my opinon, of the series is when the good side fights back. Voldemort is slaughtering "for fun" and The Order of the Phoenix won't stand for it. The Order of he Phoenix is basically the equivelent of the Justice League. The ending is a duel between the two greatist wizards alive and will keep you wanting more.

Arthur A. Levine Books, 2001
A special peek into the world of Harry Potter. These books are a unique gift from the ever creative mind of J. K. Rowling. For the avid Harry Potter enthusiast, these book give you a new perspective on the Harry Potter world. For the Harry Potter fan, the books are well written and fun to read. In addition, I loved the hand written notes from Harry and Ron. Very funny and lots of fun.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (Book 6) 3591 reviews J.K. Rowling, Jim Dale
Listening Library (Audio), 2005
Know your enemy A basic battle tactic is to know your enemy. That' just what Harry has to do, learn about Voldemort. Why is he evil? Is Voldemort his real name? What is his connection to Harry and Dumbledore? All of these questions and more are revealed in this, my favorite book in the series.

A little darker... This is when the Harry Potter series starts to get a bit "darker". The ending will make you buy the next book. You will want to know what happends.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (Book 1) 5430 reviews J.K. Rowling

beautiful book We all know and love this story. In this special anniversary addition, the publishers have included a beautiful painting of Hagrid and the First Years crossing the lake by Mary GrandPre as well as a hand drawn sketch of Snape by J.K. Rowling herself. The dust cover art is of Harry looking into the Mirror of Erised (my favorite chapter). The book itself is covered in Gryffindor house colors -- ...

HARRY POTTER AND GOBLET OF FIRE: BOOK 4 2 reviews J.K. ROWLING
ARTHUR A. LEVINE BOOKS, 2000
Glorious I've reviewed each of these books but keep being prompted to review them again. I can't praise the writing talent of J.K.Rowling enough. And again I will say, there should be more books and more movies that promote acceptance, tollerance, standing up for one's beliefs, values and what is right vs what is easy. There are too many books and too many movies that plant the idea of violence for ...

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (Book 6) 1 review J. K. Rowling; Illustrator-Mary GrandPr©
Scholastic, Inc., 2005
Can't say enough My own opinion is that J.K.Rowling is a Gifted author. This entire series of books is so brilliantly written. I think it says volumes that the Harry Potter books and movies have captured children and adults of all ages, all faiths, all nationalities. I think there are never enough books that bring home the message of acceptance, tollerance and standing up for your beliefs and values. I've read ...

Harry Potter y la piedra filosofal 30 reviews J. K. Rowling

Great Way to Brush Up on Spanish I studied Spanish and college many (I mean many) years ago and have been trying to relearn the language. I remember the basic grammar but my vocabulary is pretty weak. I decide to read Spanish books geared for young adults and found the entire Harry Potter series (I made it through the first 4 so far) to be truly enjoyable reading.
Of the four I read, this and the second (Chamber of ...

Harry, A History: The True Story of a Boy Wizard, His Fans, and Life Inside the Harry Potter Phenomenon Melissa Anelli
Pocket, 2008
The Harry Potter Books Were Just The Beginning of the Story... During the brief span of just one decade, hundreds of millions of perfectly ordinary people made history: they became the only ones who would remember what it was like when the Harry Potter saga was still unfinished. What it was like to seek out friends, families, online forums, fan fiction, and podcasts to get a fix between novels. When the potential death of a character was a ...

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (Book 2) 2655 reviews J.K. Rowling
Listening Library, 1999
The series is getting good! This, the second book in the Harry Potter series, is better than the first, but not as good as the others. But that is just my opinion. In this book, Harry is beginning to wonder if he belongs at Hogwarts after a series of unfortunate events. I won't say anything else, exept that the series is a must read.

Harrius Potter et Philosophi Lapis (Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, Latin Edition) 22 reviews J.K. Rowling
Bloomsbury USA Children's Books, 2003
Great Gift! My son has had a few years of Latin. He is just starting to be able to understand more complicated pieces. This is a great book because he is already familiar with the story, and can figure out some of the chapters even when he doesn't know all the words. And he has found it fun to see how some modern words are "created" following the Latin rules.

Harry Potter y la Órden del Fénix 18 reviews J. K. Rowling, Gemma Rovira Ortega
Emece Editores, 2004
