John Constantine, Hellblazer: Rare Cuts 6 reviews Jamie Delano, Grant Morrison, ...
Vertigo, 2005
Some of the best Hellblazer work Collecting a variety of Hellblazer comics that never made it to graphic novel print, this is the perfect start for someone who has never touched the comic in the past. Collecting Delano's "Newcastle: A Taste of Things to Come," Dead-Boy's Heart," and "In Another Part of Hell," Ennis' "This is the Diary of Danny Drake," and Morrison's "Early Warning" and "How I Learned to Love the Bomb," some of ...

Captain Britain 13 reviews Alan Davis, Jamie Delano
Marvel Enterprises, 1991
Not an Alan Moore book but still it's an Alan Davis Despite the reviews put in this category, the contents of this book has no involvement from Alan Moore. It is the continuation of the contents of the other "Captain Britain" compilation, with the continuation of the Captain Britain run in Marvel UK prior to his guest appearances in the Uncanny X-Men series and Psylocke's installation as mainstay of the X-Men mythos and Captain Britain and ...

Outlaw Nation 2 reviews Jamie Delano, Goran Sudzuka, ...
Image Comics, 2006
Great "Lost" Vertigo series that trumps PREACHER by a mile! Just caught up with this book years after its premature demise. It is right up there with all the Vertigo classics, from TRANSMETROPOLITAN to PREACHER. Hunter S Thompson would have loved this book!

Hellblazer: Family Man (Hellblazer (Graphic Novels)) 15 reviews Jamie Delano
Vertigo, 2008
jamie delano knows constantine "The devil you know" collects the issues 10-13 and the first annuals of this series. Constantine is arrogant, tortured, and alone, and Jamie's writing deepens those feelings as we walk with Constantine in a Margret Thatcher England. Reminicient of V for Vendetta in how the future England may be, this tpb is truly a horror comic. Antartica is one of the most desturbing stories I have ever read. ...

John Constantine Hellblazer: Original Sins (John Constantine Hellblazer) 3 reviews Jamie Delano, John Ridgeway
Grand Central Publishing, 1993
Incredible Read These early stories of John Constantine are the best. Delano greatly defined and "fleshed out" Constantine. This work is very underrated. The writing is subtle and operates more on a psychological level. Constantine here was the most sly and cunning. I highly recommend.

The Complete D.R. and Quinch (2000 Ad) 1 review Alan Moore, Jamie Delano
Rebellion, 2006
Violent, Demented and Funny D. R. and Quinch originally appeared in a British comic book/magazine called "2000 AD". (The same publication that spawned "Judge Dredd", among others.) It was written by Alan Moore, one of the better comic book writers of all time. (He is known for such comics as "From Hell" and "League of Extrordinary Gentlemen" (both made into films), as well as "The Watchmen", making "Swamp Thing" into an ...

Batman: Manbat (Elseworlds) 1 review Jamie Delano
DC Comics, 1995
Art to drool over wasted on an unremarkable plot I read this five years ago and was absolutely blown away by the graphics. Every page looks like a realistic and perfected painting. There is even a short section at the beginning of the book that has pictures of the artist (I don't remember his name, sorry) working in a studio. Apparently he takes photos and face casts of friends, family and models and draws from those so that he can draw the ...

The Territory 1 review Jamie Delano, David Lloyd
Dark Horse, 2006
SLOW AND DERIVITIVE "The Territory" is part Sci-Fi, part horror, mixing elements from popular films such as The Matrix, Dark City, and Minority Report into a sprawling, yet uneven graphic novel. The story begins as a man named Jack finds himself stranded on a ocean reef and is rescued by pirates. He's sold into slavery and eventually purchased by a powerful criminal lord named Max. Jack plies his trade in the ...
