Happy Days with the Naked Chef16 reviews
Jamie Oliver

Hyperion, 2002

Jamie Does Cooking with the Family. Highly Recommended
In every way imaginable, this third Jamie Oliver cookbook proclaims that he has arrived as a celebrity chef, husband, father, and all around swell lad made good. His name on the cover is about three times the size of the book's title, `Happy Days with the Naked Chef', the book is dedicated to his two children, Little Henners and Jakey Bakey, and photos his nibs with his wife, Jools appear ...

Jamie at Home: Cook Your Way to the Good Life3 reviews
Jamie Oliver

Hyperion, 2008

Typical Jamie....
I just happened upon this book at the local grocery store but didn't hesitate to purchase it as I've always enjoyed Jamie Oliver's cookbooks. His writing has always been down to earth and he seems to 'relish' (pun intended!) any opportunity to educate the public about making healthy, delicious eating practical and realistic. He's forever 'encouraging' us to eat responsibly...with a healthy dose ...

Jamie's Dinners: The Essential Family Cookbook31 reviews
Jamie Oliver

Hyperion, 2004

great all around cookbook
i got this book a few years ago when i first wanted to cook professionally. i am now a dinner chef at a cafe, and this is my go-to cookbook when i cant think of the last dinner special or salad for the night. everything is presented in an easy to follow, throw together style, and you rarely have need for a mesuring device other than your hands. i dont think ive made any recipe in this book that i ...

JAMIE'S ITALY28 reviews
JAMIE OLIVER

MICHAEL JOSEPH LTD, 2005

Simply Amazing!
I bought this book after I flipped through it at my Aunt's home. I thought it looked interesting, but after looking at the cookbook as an actual book, rather than a place for recipes I was astonished to find that I was perfectly happy sitting down and just reading it. The pictures are beautiful and the recipes that I have tried are delicious! My grandfather, a very proud Italian man was impressed ...

Naked Chef, The69 reviews
Jamie Oliver

Hyperion, 2005

Fantastic Cook book
The book is really good. I love this so much I bought Happy Days with the Naked Chef too. The recipes I have tried out so far have worked every time and the instructions are clear. Although I loved cooking, I was not what anyone would call a professional in the kitchen. I would have balked at anything that sounded too complex. The mushroom risotto and the chickpea and leek soup are two of the ...

Jamie Oliver Knows What He's Talking About!
I now have all of Jamie Oliver's books and DVDs. I am eagerly awaiting his book on Italy to be released. B. Marold says it best, so anything I say will be redundant. What I like (love really) about his cookbooks, including this one, is that all of the recipes are cook-able. The meat, fish, salad, and dessert recipes are simple, but incredibly tasty. I own numerous cookbooks, but few are as ...

The Robot Kit: With Four Fantastic Easy-to-Build Robots1 review
Sarah Chapman

Barron's Educational Series, 2006

What a rip-off
My 8 year old was looking forward to this gift, as he spotted it when it arrived in October and waited until tonight to open it. He's disappointed. I didn't realize it was just cardboard cut-outs with some blinking lights. It's not a robot, it's a cardboard toy that blinks and makes an annoying sound. He didn't even like the sound! I would not recommend and I'd like my money back.

Jamie at Home X24 Dumpbin by Jamie Oliver
I know that this sounds tacky, but this book has changed my life! Jamie brings you into a world with in his gardens and kitchens that seem to magically blend into each other. He combines growing and cooking with a zen like force and connects the spirits of each into one flowing energy. Fantastic. It is a beautiful book and really fun to read. Thank you Jamie! -Steve

The Return of the Naked Chef2 reviews
Jamie Oliver

Penguin Books Ltd, 2002

Yum!
My husband and I have made many of the delicious recipies in this book. We have had the pleasure of enjoying the lamb curry, the fantastic roasted chicken, the roasted fillet of beef rolled in herbs and wrappped in prosciutto, risotto of radiccio, bacon, rosemary and red wine, linguine with pancetta and clams (one of my favorites) and the strawberries marinated in balsamic - just to name a few. ...
