Great Book!
While it was a little annoying that it did not follow a complete story, Star Wars Legacy: Shards is a great book. It shows the complete story of the Sith's plan and it shows the origin of how Cade Skywalker became a bounty hunter. Not to mention some old characters make appearances.... Bottom line, I would reccomend this book to any Star Wars fan!

Great book
I was pleasantly surprised when I read this book. Despite introducing all new star wars characters I think that the storyline is appealing and innovative in certain way. I also appreciate that the sith dogma of there only being a master and an apprentice is not kept in legacy. This allows there to have more lightsaber fights between jedi and sith lords which are illustrated in great detail. ...

Wish they came out quicker
I like this series I wish they would put it into regular novel form. Sometimes hard to follow all the characters. I enjoy it greatly though.

Extremely Good!!!
This comic- excuse me, 'graphic novel' is part of one of my favorite series. The artwork is OK, but some of the characters look a little odd at certain angles. However, the slight flaws in the art disappear form your mind as you get wrapped up in the plot and the new characters- Durge (he's really cool, even though he's really evil) and Asajj Ventress (who isn't technically new because she ...

Best Clone Wars Graphic Novel
A fantastic entry into the ever-growing plethora of SW novels and comics Jan Duurscema's LIGHT AND DARK is a must-have for Clone Wars fans. No.5 charts the dark side of the battles, primarily concerned with Count Dooku and Quinlan Vos. Deep, rich artwork, and some great writing from STAR WARS regular John Ostrander. A great read and essential for fans of the genre.

Clonewars
Do you want ot read a great series book that was so good that it was made into a movie? Then pick up the book Starwars 2: Attack of the Clones. Every chapter there is something going on, even in the first chapter. It has loads of mysteries and fighting. The Jedis have to find an assassin. Even if you have seen the movie it is still an exciting book to read. if you want a few more details than the ...

Remembering Chewbacca
Yes it's hard to believe but prior to the release of this comic series we had never truly seen our hero's in the midst of grief. The novels from Bantam were under strict orders not to kill off any of the main cast from the movies, which left them at somewhat of a dramatic quagmire as there are only so many times Luke can go to the dark side, the Jedi children can get kidnapped, Boba Fett is ...

Excellent art, but the story is lacking
A great graphic novel by Ron Marz and illustrated by Jan Duursema. The main idea was Black Sun threatens Sidious' plans for a Naboo Blockade. Darth Maul is sent to weaken their criminal network. In this TPB, writer Ron Marz is, well, Ron Marz. That means little dialogue, weak storyline, and not much character development. An example of weak dialogue was when Sidious and Maul were talking, and ...
Star Wars Legacy # 0
John Ostrander
Dark Horse Comics
, 2006
This issue will orient you to a totally new era in the Star Wars timeline. Set at a time writer John Ostrander calls "100 years after the . . . Legacy of the Force books", this issue will present itself as "non-fictional" database of information about the new era. Editor Randy Stradley goes so far as to say "the actual interior pages of #0 will be typeset", apparently to give it a feel more like a kind of encyclopedia. The content will ...

John Ostrander does it again
Another great graphic novel in the Clone Wars series. This picks up from where volume 4 left off, once again going to the story of Quinlan Vos. This book didn't have any real good battles but was filled with more lightsaber fights than in the first 5 volumes combined. Great art (as usual), and the storyline gets even more interesting when no one knows whose side Vos really is. It would have been ...

Must have for Star Wars fan
The book is a good collection of stories on how the fall of the Old Republic and the fall of the jedi order after Episode 3 of the movies. I will admit that most of the stories are a bit short for my taste and a bit open-ended to boot, but overall not to bad. Great artwork and compelling stories.

The cream of the cake
Twilight is simply one of the best Star Wars comics out there, and for damn good reason. Which is what you'd better have for passing over this. The quality of art is not just excellent, it's outstanding. This is as close to three-dimensional material as there was at the time it came out---and there's more comics by the artistry team that's just as comparable. Colours are sharp, tone vibrant, ...

An answer for N. Wells...
N. Wells at the end of his review said "I hear there is a 9th volume coming out, not sure how much more there is to tell in this series though." The 9th and final volume of the CLONE WARS series of the STAR WARS REPUBLIC comic line will be called ENDGAME, and it means basically what you think it might. It includes the last 5 issues of the REPUBLIC line plus one stand-alone issue. The action ...
