Left Behind: A Novel of the Earth's Last Days (Left Behind, Book 1)2174 reviews
Tim LaHaye, Jerry B. Jenkins

Tyndale House Publishers, 1995

I enjoyed every minute...could not put the book down!
I could not put the first book down. I enjoyed all the characters and looked forward to each adventure. I ran through all 12 books in record time. If you are real serious then don't get the book. But if you like to read books that try to show the book of Revelations in a literal way and also explore the effects of the church being raptured then have fun. People have been talking about the ...

Apollyon: The Destroyer Is Unleashed (Left Behind #5)506 reviews
Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins

Thorndike Press, 2001

Love Enjoy... and Devour!!
I really enjoy this series. Although it has some minor flaws... such as the somewhat dry writing style, scarce characterization, and the fact that the series seems without end, I couldnt help myself but to be sucked into the plot. I admit, it could be better, but I couldnt put it down and devoured the book in as little as 4 days.

Desecration: Antichrist Takes the Throne239 reviews
Tim F. LaHaye & Jerry B. Jenkins

Thorndike Press, 2002

Just one more book in the all-encompassing, enthralling, and utterly absorbing Left Behind Series
From the very first letter of the alphabet that my eyes looked upon inside this series of books, until the very last period of the very last sentence, I was hooked. Each one of these books absorbed my attention like no other book has ever done in my life. Biblically sound, theatrically entertaining, and brilliantly written, the Left Behind books will inspire you to dig into God's word and take ...

Glorious Appearing: The End of Days284 reviews
Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins

Thorndike Press, 2004

Religious fiction
Another one of those Christian Fictions that bespeaks doom and destruction for all who don't turn their lives over to Jesus. If you can get past the religious psychobabble, its a good book. Otherwise, Buddha is a much better choice and his followers are typically less intolerant and war-like. The end of a series in which Christians can read, believe that they're superior and have chosen the ...

Jerry B. Jenkins, Tim LaHaye

Great Final
Great finale to the entire series. I read all 12. This was awesome. I didn't want it to end. I wish there were more books like this available.

Tribulation Force: The Continuing Drama of Those Left Behind (Left Behind Series Book 2)440 reviews
Tim F LaHaye, Jerry B. Jenkins

Recorded Books, 1996

Things slow down...
In "Tribulation Force" things slow down considerably from the first book. It is probably the dullest book in the entire series, but that does not make it a bad book, and it is still integral to the series as a whole. This book takes over where the first left off and is in between the rapture and the plagues. Buck Williams, Rayforde Steel, and Chloe Steele have all made decisions to ...

Tim LaHaye, Jerry B. Jenkins

John's Story (The Jesus Chronicles, Book 1)34 reviews
Tim LaHaye, Jerry B. Jenkins

Berkley Trade, 2007

John's Story - The Jesus Chronicles
This book, like the second one in the series, fills out the biblical personalities and makes them really human and alive. It is full of information on the culture and political pressures of the time. It is fun, informative and hard to put down. I enjoyed it very much as I have many of Tim LaHaye's biblical fiction novels.

Assassins: Assignment: Jerusalem, Target: Antichrist (Left Behind #6) [LARGE PRINT]414 reviews
Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins

Thorndike Press, 2001

Ummm.... Wow!!!
This was by far the best book in the series. The action, suspense, comedy, and elements of saddness blend so well, that its hard not to love the books for what they are. Unlike the last installments, "Assassins" takes on a darker premise. The characterization gets much more refined, because of the writers ability of putting the reader more into the minds of the character... whereas in the ...

Demon's Bluff (Renegade Spirit Series #2)1 review
Jerry B. Jenkins, John Perrodin

Thomas Nelson, 2007

Exciting Read
This series is fast paced, and thought provoking. It is for the young adult, or young at heart adult, reader. Both of my teenagers and myself really enjoyed both books so far in the series, and anxiously await the next one!

The Rising: Antichrist Is Born (Before They Were Left Behind, Book 1)91 reviews
Tim LaHaye, Jerry B. Jenkins

Tyndale House Publishers, 2005

Very Interesting
I have read all three prequills to the left behind series and I found them very interesting. They answer a lot of questions about the characters in the "Left Behind" series. I found them a good read and they were not too long but you will want to read all three. I recomend them to anyone who has read or wants to read the "Left Behind" books. I do want to reread the first book in the series just ...

Mark's Story7 reviews

Putnam Adult, 2007

Mark's Story
I love this story. LaHaye and Jenkins have continued their ability to bring fact and fiction together, with the same gripping style that pulls you right in. This book, as well as the Left Behind series and John's Story, are easy to read and easy to grasp. They will all give you a better understanding of how each of the individuals involved impacted those around them and how JESUS and GOD ...
