I found the book to be helpful, although after taking the exam I thought that it was harder than the exam! The CD with questions was very helpful. There were some discrepancies between the book and the CD.

Great for multiple reasons
This book provides not only the necessary components to meet AACN (CCNE) and NONPF guidelines for program curriculum, but provides wonderful clinical guidelines for practice. This book has replaced Uphold and Graham in our FNP program!

Great chart, but contains error &needs a revision
I am thankful for this well-formatted list. Although it does not include all important details, it does provide a brief "at-a-glance" reference for the vitamin and mineral sources along with their deficiency and toxicity symptoms, suggested dosages, therapeutic recommendations,and even a few drug interaction alerts. Help for the exam?
This review book is full of questions that are similar to the certification exam in format, multiple choice with four answers to choose from. I found it to be a good review to brush up on clinical practice issues. I would not study just this book prior to the exam however. I found there are more detailed questions in this book rather than broader questions. After having taken the exam, I ...
