Kids' Crazy Concoctions: 50 Mysterious Mixtures for Art & Craft Fun (Williamson Kids Can! Series) 3 reviews Jill Frankel Hauser
Williamson Publishing Company, 1994
Awesome resource I use this book both with my kids at home and in my classroom. I love that the recipes allow children to be so creative. Generic suggestions allow the kids to learn art techniques, then apply them their way. My kids produce projects that they are proud of because they are truly their own.

Gizmos & Gadgets: Creating Science Contraptions That Work (& Knowing Why) (Williamson Kids Can Books) 2 reviews Jill Frankel Hauser
Topeka Bindery, 1999
Great Intro to Physics! My nine year old son loves this book! It has some great projects to do (using easy-to-find materials) while also introducing famous scientists and scientific principles like the laws of motion. We were following the The Well-Trained Mind: A Guide to Classical Education at Home, Revised and Updated Edition and found this book to be much better than the books it recommended for Physics.

Outstanding resource My kids loved these fun learning activities. Enough to keep them busy through early childhood. Nothing canned here. . . all creative and discovery-focused. Makes biology and even physics accessable to very young children. You can't go wrong with this outstanding guide.

Williamson Books, 2007
Great Book for Homeschool Science I first got this book out of the library, but loved it so much I had to have my own copy. My kids gave this to me for Christmas. We homeschool and this is a fun "hands on" way to learn science.

Easy Art Fun: Do-It-Yourself Crafts for Beginning Readers (Little Hands Read-&-Do Book) 1 review Jill Frankel Hauser
Williamson Publishing Company, 2001
Perfect for little ones Tired of projects supposedly for kids, but really require adult help all the way? Then this book is for your family. Young kids can truly do these projects on their own. The text is simple. The adoreable illustrations are step-by-step. Best of all, there's lots of opportunity for them to add their own creativity. My kids were so proud of their results!

Growing Up Reading: Learning to Read Through Creative Play (Kids Love to Learn) 1 review Jill Frankel Hauser
Williamson Publishing Company (VT), 1993
Terrific ideas to help kids learn to read! This book has many neat ideas like making a special word box with sight words with personal meaning, making personalized books, menus, learning to read nursery rhymes, etc. I think it is a good complement to any phonics instruction. It uses some Montessori games and techniques but it seems much easier to follow and you don't need to spend lots of time and money on complex props. There are ...

Big ideas for little kids! I've always wondered how to teach about the USA in a meaningful way to my first graders. Now I've got this outstanding guide. Activities are "cute" without being shallow. It's got history, geography, American symbols, principles and values. What a great resource!

Wow! I'm Reading!: Fun Activities to Make Reading Happen 3 reviews Jill Frankel Hauser
Topeka Bindery, 2000
Yes, preschoolers can read! I couldn't believe how easily my four year old started to read when I presented the activities in the book. The phonemic awareness (sound awareness) activities were amazing. They really provided the link to phonics as the author explains.

Very Good Book Hello, I am the author of the Kid Concoctions Book series and I think that this book series is wonderful! The fact that is has different projects than the Kid Concoctions series makes it a great book to own in addition to the Kid Concoctions Book series. Which book came first really doesen't matter, our first book was published in 1997 and was based on our Famous Kid Concoctions Video series that ...
