Homecoming 3 reviews Jill Marie Landis
Steeple Hill, 2008
An exceptional tale from a gifted storyteller Honestly, I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a book as much as I enjoyed HOMECOMING. It's been a long time since one of my favorite authors wrote a book in my favorite genre and drew me into the characters the way Jill does with this story.
A fish out of water or an underdog are my favorite characters. Jill does it all here: emotional trauma, motivating backstory, worlds colliding, ...

Day Dreamer 9 reviews Jill Marie Landis
Jove, 1996
So glad I read Day Dreamer. What a find! Why have I never heard of Jill Marie Landis until now? I'm agonizing over the fact that I could've been enjoying her books all these years. Needless to say I plan to make up for all that lost time by making sure she's on my "get anything written by her" list. I usually prefer a character driven romance where it's heavy on the dialogue. The plot, settings, action and adventure are rarely ...

After All 4 reviews Jill Marie Landis
Jove, 1995
A Beautiful Love Story I have become a huge fan of Jill Marie Landis and this book is a big reason why. Eva Eberhart is working as a dance hall girl in order to fulfill her dream of opening her own theater (her parents are performers and she's been on stage since she was a child). She realizes, after constantly fighting off the advances of drunken patrons, that what she really wants is a home and a family. She ...

Wildflower 2 reviews Jill Marie Landis
Jove, 1989
One of Landis's bests Wildflower is about Dani, who finds herself helping two mysterious men, when she only wants to find her fathers partner. She is soon over her head in a mystery that she shouldn't be involved in. I really like Wildflower. I have read it many times.

A Valentine "Keeper!" If you haven't read this collection, or known it was available, you will be so happy that it has been re-issued! I have always enjoyed reading Jill Marie Landis' novels. It was through this anthology that I discovered Jodi Thomas and Kathleen Kane. All three are well written historical novellas. If you like western US historicals, you will enjoy reading these!

Just Once 6 reviews Jill Marie Landis

Most Excellent #2 of 3 Oh, Wow! Just where is Hunter Boone? Jemma was going to follow Hunter come hell or high water - she wasn't staying around to get caught. Sister Agusta Aleria was right about everything. Once a girl has fallen into sin, she was doomed. A life of endless kissing and other things was about all Jemma ever thought of in her spare time. [grin] Jemma spent time helping Hannah Boone with her children, ...

Blue Moon 18 reviews Jill Marie Landis
Jove, 1999
Romantic, unforgettable love story More than 5 stars, in fact. This my first Jill Marie Landis book I read and it is not my last. Blue Moon is a fabulous read. This is a very beautiful love story of two emotionally tortured people who at first believe that they are not worth of love but gradually feel the true love from one another as they fall in love. The hero, Noah LeCroix, one-eye, scarred half-breed is the hero of my favorite ...

Heart Break Hotel 10 reviews Jill Marie Landis
Thorndike Press, 2005
A Top Ten Romance - excellent read I read almost all of this year's top ten romances recommended by the American Library Association - and this one is wonderful. This is a continuation of the author's Twilight Cove saga and it really tugged my heart-strings. I highly recommend this one as well as MJ Putney's Stolen Magic, Lynn Kerstan's Dangerous Passions, and Lord Will & Her Grace by Sophia Nash. All of them were almost ...

3 rd in the tirlogy -- DEFINITELY A KEEPER Finally it all comes together in a great romance -- only disappointment was for Caleb and Analisa - they should have had at least 2 more offspring. Annika thought she knew a lot about life - Boston life that is -- but soon found to her dismay, when she was given a mistaken identity and kidnapped by Buck Scott, that she had a lot more to learn. She started out in fear of this hulking blonde giant ...

Heat Wave 12 reviews Jill Marie Landis
Center Point Large Print, 2004
A Great Romance Writer Turns to Mysteries Jill Marie is one of my favorite writers of historical romances and I'm thrilled she is writing contemporary mysteries. I loved Lover's Lane and was glad to see Kat Vargus back in another book. This is a great read and hard to put down like all of Jill Marie's books. Like the other reviewers, I liked the relationship between Ty and Sunny which is nicely done and more nuanced than most ...
