A Philosophy of Spiritual Activity1 review
Rudolf Steiner

Rudolf Steiner Press, 1993

Anyone who wants to know what Freedom really means will do well to study this work!
A number of profound discourses are brought under one cover to illumine the reader to take to task what freedom means in a life of spiritual pursuit. Scientific yet profoundly mystical. An amazing work!

Absolutely charming
For a moment, I thought this might be a little tough for my four year old grandson. Wrong! Within moments he was picking out the objects author/artist Steiner uses in these fascinating whimsical constructions. The Amazon listing for this book simply doesn't do it justice. The theme is postcards, such as one of a French Chateau. Steiner reconstructs it from toilet paper rolls, ice cream ...

The more you look, the more you like!
What a wonderful book! I bought the book as a gift for my nephew and enjoyed it so much I nearly didn't want to give it away! Needless to say my nephew was delighted and loves the book. It's a great way to spend quality time with the younger generation, you will get as much pleasure as they do, finding all the cleverly arranged objects. A great way to wile away a cold winter's eve.

Look-Alike Book
My Grandson had checked out a couple of the Look-Alike books from the Library. He really liked them, so I decided to get him one for his 5TH birthday. He really enjoys finding the look alike objects in the pictures, and spends a long time for a five year old doing so.

It's all in the details!
my daughter loves all the look-alike books. Look-Alike books are not "I Spy" nor "where's Waldo." It is better! Steiner used tons of little everyday items and put them into a theme-scape. Look closely and you see the train tracks are made of pencils, and the snow-capped mountain-tops are covered with white gloves! It invokes young readers' imagination and surprises even the most well-read ...

Correspondence and Documents 1901-1925
Rudolf Steiner

Steiner Books, 2000

This volume provides unique insight both into the development of the anthroposophical movement and the relationship between Rudolf and Marie Steiner through the letters between them. These letters cover everything from the esoteric view of evolution and human development to how to deal with problem personalities, as well as many discussions of organizational details. Also included are the numerous wills that Steiner wrote.

My kids favorite
My five year old and my three year old love this book. I find it a lot of fun as well, and it gives me pleasure to watch my children get better and better at identifying the hidden pieces. We must have "read" it twenty times in the past two years. The material that the pictures are made from is more identifiable to children, and the scenes are ones that my children understand. The CDROM isn't ...
